No excuse for not putting on an impressive performance Sunday night

Our biggest game at Texas Stadium in years, coupled with the fact that the Saints will be missing 5 key starters, including their top two WRs and their best defensive player, means we have no excuse for not getting a nice win this Sunday. If we play our game, there is no reason we shouldnt win by 10+ on the talent descrepency created by those injuries alone.

LOL, he sure does sound like him

I am not sure that all 5 of em will be missing, I think Colston will be back, and Horn you never know he is listed DTD. Even with their entire team and no suspensions...we will beat them.

New Orleans sports talk stations have been reporting that Horn is out since early this morning and Colston is very doubtful.

Yeah, but I can't remeber exactly which station it was, but they had an interview with Colston and he said that he didn't want to play the Atalnta or San Fransisco game because he didn't want to rush to get back on the field since the game after those is more important and that he will be ready. I hope I heard him wrong or that he was talking about even later games.

If we don't contain Bush and pressure Brees they can score points. A lot of them. It would be nice to have a big enough lead I don't have to sweat the 4th quarter like last Sunday but that may not happen.

If the Cowboys win it'll be satisfying, but if they lose it'll be devastating considering all the Saints' missing players.

I'm not saying we will win or there's no way in Hell we can lose, I'm saying that we don't ahve any excuses to lose. We are injury free and we are at home against a depleted team.

We're just messing with your "if we play our game" comment, HH. :laugh1:

A lot of things are certainly falling in place for us to win this game, and I hope we take advantage of the opportunity.

It would certainly suck to lose given all of the Saints injuries and our lack of them. But they are still a dangerous team. Gonna be a tough battle and I really don't expect to win by more than a touchdown if not a fieldgoal to be honest. Lets hope the Romosapien bounces back with a big game.

And there isn't a single Tight End in the HISTORY OF THE N - F - FREAKIN' L that ran, or runs, the 30 yard slant as well as Jeremy Shockey.

I think we should stop worrying or fretting about whether an opponents key players are going to be in the game or not. That telegraphs we don't have enough confidence in our team. Every game out we should play the opponent at full force. As we possibly head into the playoffs, the competition will get more intense and challenging.

I would rather see our team go down swinging hard than win with doubts about our toughness or capability. The Eagles are starting to become more dangerous again as Garcia quarterbacked very effectively. Good, I can't wait for us to play and beat them at Texas Stadium without major excuses.

That is pretty darn unfair. Shockey has two minds, one is lost and the other one is looking for it.

There is no excuse for not beating them. they are down several important players due to injury, and overall we are the better team, anyway. And we are at home. NO EXCUSES.

35-21 I think we come out a little flat, and pull away in the second half kind of like the Bucks game. The difference is that NO offense is light years better than Tampa's.

They have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL - and Hollis Thomas is out. There's no excuse for Julius not dropping 220 on them. ;)
