If they do lose there will be plenty of excuses as well as the usual 'they'll still win the division' and 'there's still plenty of time to get it together and make a strong run'

this game will get ugly fast, and everyone will say dallas only beats up on bums.

Welll it WAS kind of ugly in a way.

CFIH did a post last week titled what to expect if 6 starters were out or something like that.

By last count I think New Orleans was missing 7 opening day offensive starters and 1 defensive(I think) starter last night.

All this post game win ugly discussion is supposed to rationalize the fan base feel good mentality.

Because if Dallas was missing what New Orleans was missing last night, then like last year, this whole board would be about justifying losses based off lack of injured starters.

A win is a win in the NFL but the whole injury context situation applies to every team and not just this one.
