the next 3 games are road games, but they are against the teams currently ranked 13th (Washington), 20th (Carolina) and 26th (Arizona) in total offense...those same 3 teams are ranked 18th, 23rd and 24th in scoring offense...Washington does rank 7th in rushing offense, but Carolina is 25th and Arizona is dead last...in passing offense they rank 14th, 16th and 20th

these teams are all mediocre offensively...if we cant play good defense in this stretch of games, we never will

Romo is a huge question mark because nobody knows what he will do, but Zimmer should be able to conjure up a defense whcih slows down these 3 teams and at LEAST keeps us in the game, if not win them

It's a good thing Dallas doesn't have an Offensive Coordinator. He would be blamed for every failure the offense has committed. Does anybody know if Dallas uses a Special Teams Coordinator, or just a special teams coach? I'm going to start blaming him for all the screwups the special teams have.

Parcells already stated in his PC. The team is going back to being conservative on both sides of the ball.

Ohhh I agree. I can't see how much more conservative we can actually go.

Fear not: when Bill goes (probably next February), Zim will go with him.

I don't think we're that conservative on offense actually. Nothing like Washington I'll tell you that. But on defense, I don't know if Parcells' trust his secondary or his LBrs to cover properly. If your guys can play man to man really good, we could blitz like crazy.

there is nothing wrong with the coverage ability on our 3 CB's...I rarely see guys getting open on them

the problem is somebody on this coaching staff keeps thinking it is a great idea to have our safeties trying to cover other teams starting WR's deep down field...thats what you call S T U P I D

I see tight ends running free alot. I'm not too blown away by our LBr coverage either. Also, it seems like we have problems when our (just like you said) our safeties are in one on one. The problem is, even when we doulbe team a receiver with both safeties, they still catch the ball on us.

Last year when Philly and T.O. came to town. That's the only time I can remember that the team played aggressively on both sides of the ball. Then it was back to conservative the following week when the Giants came to town.

5 #1 draft picks on the defense, I guess we need 5 more in order to become dominant.

Can we have a "No excuses for idiot players who can't execute; i.e. laying the blame at the feet of the coaches" thread?

Rawr accountability.
