The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports Ahman Green isn't a lock to make the Packers.

Finally, a real assestment from the Green Bay media about Green. "It remains to be seen when Green will return during training camp. And it's a greater mystery if he can fully recover from such a brutal (quadriceps) injury," the paper writes. He could fight Najeh Davenport for a roster spot.

I'd take the Defecator as well if he were to be cut loose.

Green's job isn't safe, but Brett Favre's is. Go figure.

Right......like I was saying.
Same here, with Najeh aboard, having three backs JJ, Barber and "Defecator" would really punish teams throughout a game.

I doubt GB gets rid of them either. They aren't paying them much.

That is why I'd consider them. Vet backs that would come cheap. Green has more tread on his tires at this point than George did (not saying that much, but he could contribute if healthy).

Davenport would be really good....if he could stay healthy. Its not like he is at the end of the line because he really hasn't had that many carries.

In a rotation, at a cheap price, both would be good adds.

I would be very very surprised he GB cut him. Shocked actually.

I wouldn't with Green's performance last year and the type of injury he had. Green won't stay in GB too much longer imo.

As long as he's healty he'll make the team.

Hey, if Green Bay cuts him, we should sign him...its almost like having one RB.

When JJ goes down in week 9 with an injury for the season...maybe week 10....we can use Green. Green should get us up until week 17.

I dont want him, and those that do, are seriouilsy imparired. Green had two good season, and after this injury there is no surety that he will be just as good. With ther state of the PAckers offense, if they are willing to cut loose Green, why would you want us to pick him up.

Basically for the slow ones, if i cant make a cellar team's roster, why would you want him in Dallas, where you have three young guys who all can play (not even counting summers)?
