Even though he has a locker, keeping fingers crossed that Gregory finds a use for it.

Will raise a glass when McClain and Gregory are far from this team. Complete wastes of resources and energy. This team needs to focus on players that actually love the game.

Another point is, they only have so many lockers, so as player come and go, lockers open up.
At AT&T stadium, unless they made changes in the last 18 months. They have lockers in a hallway that goes from the locker room to the press room. It seems as if those players have been excluded from the main area. But they are for some PS players, as well, as they share them too.
They just didn't have room, plan for the added players to the PS's. Used to be 6, then 8, now 10.

McClain has used up all his chances and didn't cost anything to acquire. Gregory is young enough and cost a 2ndround pick. That makes it too soon to give up on him. If he doesn't complete rehab and come back from suspension clean, then he will be gone soon enough.

Gregory is an addict, he's talked a good game at the draft about making the best of this opportunity but with Addicts, they always tell you what you want to hear but never live up to the promises..

As addicts do, before they go into rehab...I will give him that opportunity after rehab to show he has changed. and if he hasn't then time to move on. What does it hurt to give him that chance. It's not like we can get that draft pick back anyway. so nothing to lose by waiting it out.
The NFL is not like your local walmart store, or even if the guy is a doctor with a problem...those can be replaced easily. A NFL player with talent cannot be. So they get these extra chances.

What a waste Ro was/is. Isn't he still only 26 or something?? When he was on he was one heck of football player.

Thank you for at least supporting the rehab stint. The stigma on addiction around here is absolutely atrocious.

It is a sad waste of talent and opportunity. I feel most bad for his kids and what his poor decisions mean for them. They have no say in how it will undoubtedly affect their lives.

So, we're keeping him on the roster so we can recoup the signing bonus, or as much as possible, which I get, but at some point, he would have missed enough of training camp that we can release him earlier, no? With all the fines?

edit: looks like after 25 missed days, it equals 750k and we can recoup the money, and release him. is that how it works?

We all make choices in life and Ro made his of what is important and what is not. As for Gregory I think he is down to his last chance the ball is in his court of what he wants in his life.
