What is the purpose of these London games anyways...trying to sell Europeans on American Football, it'll always be a fringe sport in Europe. I would think if they were looking to expand outside the US, then the league would try different locations in Mexico and Canada...

I am one that glad we are not going.

I could be wrong, but I remember reading one time that Jerry will not give up home dates to play in Europe, only go as a visitor, does he have control over this? I would think teams do, why would the league want reluctant teams representing them in Europe...

I would've love to go to London to see the Boys play but them not going is ok too. I don't get why some of y'all are complaining like this really affects y'all though. Guess some have to have something to moan about.

Good, London games suck. I wonder how excited the Vikings are that they get to give up a home game in their brand new stadium.

Btw, looks like another slate of really awesome games for the Brits, lol. I'm amazed they keep coming out for these terrible games, it's like the NFL is trying to get them to not like football.
Yep stinkeroos are their fans fate.

Being emotional will get you nowhere. That's not what I said or implied at all. Talk facts not made up stuff. I assume you're grown so why are you making up stuff like a little kid at fantasy land?

So just like Thursday games it seems like everyone gets a turn eventually and we should embrace it.

I'll never understand why everything the NFL does gets crapped on. More primetime games. More jerseys to buy. More coverage. People seem to hate to have options
This person is clearly Roger Goodell

I had no beef with goodell either. He didn't hit those girls who cares how he handled the punishments he's not the law.

Also he's pretty tall and was a big high school star before he was commissioner no one knows that about me

Ratings are poor which is why the league is changing the start times so it's not so early in the U.S.

The owners, players and fans don't want to play in London or Mexico. Amazing how much power Goddell wields.

Good...........sacrifice one teams home game to play in a foreign country is beyond ludicrous.

Watching the games over the pond is creepy.

The fans are dead quiet until something big happens..........then it's quiet again.

You can hear the QB, clearly, at the LOS it's so quiet. Weird.

Not true. In fact the fans in London tend to be more into football than your average US fan. A very high percentage are involved in the sport at grassroots level. There's a traditional of people involved in the sport from all over Europe meeting in London for the games. One of the reasons they always sell out - its much bigger than the fixture - like a big festival of football people.

I don't understand how they could allow these games from a competitive standpoint. IE Rams @ Cardinals .. this is extremely unfair to AZ that they have one less home game vs a division foe. Even this year when NYG played in London against LA, I saw it as a big advantage for NYG vs the entire NFC East that they have one less road game (in the fact that it is on a neutral field). That NYG/LA game came down to the wire, and the home field advantage likely would have swayed the game for LA. That could EASILY determine who wins a division in this league.

BTW-- if you wanna watch awful QB'ing watch Keenum in that NYG/LA game in London
