Those tweets tell you all you need to know about Buck. He's a complete tool and conducts himselm as such. For a national broadcaster to routinely show bias towards teams is a joke. I can't for the life of me figure out why he is the go to guy for fox.

It would be good if Buck stayed to play-by-play and let Aikman do all of the analysis; however, the team of Buck/Aikman is 1000x better than listening to Phil Simms.

Simms is so bad that Bob Sturm and his broadcast partner have a segment devoted to reviewing what Simms says after he Broadcasts Cowboys games. If you look a the transcript of what Simms says if it is unbelievably bad and non-nonsensical.

If I could replace all announcers, there are many that I would replace before I got down the list to Buck.

From a strictly play by play aspect, he is good at his job. It's everything else that irks fan bases, and apparently quite a few fanbases feel the same. Baseball is actually worse than football because there is a lot more time to fill in with talking about the teams or players so he really gets exposed there.

Fox could make him better but they encourage him to do what he does. On the football broadcasts they could easily tell him to stay out of the analysis side and stick to play by play but that's not how Fox operates. If they replaced him it would be a similar situation unless his bosses were replaced also.

You're absolutely correct there. In the Thursday night game he said a play should have been intentional grounding because the ball didn't go past the line of scrimmage, but the ball was thrown directly at the feet of an eligible reciever. He completed ignored that fact. I was asking my dad if we were sure this guy played QB in the NFL?

While I do not disagree with your take, it really speaks volumes about how bad the others are. Its laborious listening to Joe Buck. If Joe Buck would just show up and they kept his mic on mute he would be tolerable, especially for baseball.

Are you serious? It was a pick of one older girl holding a smaller one. He was if she was "held or being held" in the picture. He's asking if he's tweeting with the younger or older.

That's not creepy.

In my opinion he is better then most of the other Fox folks by a ton. Some of those folks flat out put you to sleep. I agree Sim's sucks. I listen to him on Thursday night football and I think he believes he is a saint or the Great Oz of announcers. Hurts my head.
