I will move on to the fact he still counts almost half his salary against the cap if we Cut him.


So we’d have to find his replacement for less than 6 mil and still eat the dead hit, with the losses of irving and Gregory and potentially Lawrence looming.


If we can hold out one more year, it’s barely a dead cap charge of 1 million.

You save nearly $6 million by cutting him this year. And $15 million in overall salary over the final two years of his bloated contract.

That $6 million can be put to far better use. For an actual starter.

Crawford’s contract itself has not hamstrung us from putting our team to the next level. There were plenty of games where Crawford’s is the only lineman to show up.

It's incredible how far some people will go to lower the bar of expectations in an effort to allow certain players to meet them.

Yeah I think most of those were from his time with the Jets. I'm in the Northeast so we heard a lot about it then.
