Roy11 would fit in just fine, but that's not the main concern. The biggest adjustment for Shannahan would be the offensive line. The same reason why Holmgren wouldn't fit in Dallas is even more relevant for Shanahan. In order for his system to work, the linemen need to be lean, quick, and agile, which is the complete opposite of what the Cowboys linemen are.

If there was a way where he can adjust his system ( and, honestly, I just don't see how ) where he'd use more straight ahead blocking, I'd love it for him to come in and be, at the very least, the offensive coordinator if not the head coach outright. Romo, T.O., RW, and the most of the rest of this fools need somebody who doesn't tolorate any B.S. and is a strict discplinarian.

And, like somebody posted in another thread, that doesn't mean necessarily a screamer like Tuna, but a guy who has enough " sand in his saddle bags " and who'd have NO problems benching ANYBODY if they don't do what they're supposed to be doing.

I don't understand all this concern about draft picks if Shanahan gets hired...

#1 we have an outstanding College prospect Scout which Jerry trusts 100% and as of late, hes been doing a find job of finding us talent.

#2 Shane won't be the decision maker Jones will.

His job will be to coach, so lets just stop all this "personnel threads" they hold no merit here in Dallas.

Shanahan had the say so in Denver, not here if he gets hired, he will be just the Coach.
