Was it 3rd and 1 - or 4th and 1 - and Romo kept motioning to the sideline that his walkie/talkie/ipod receiver in his helmet was down and he couldn't get the play call ... as the clock was ticking down without a moment's hesitation he called a play and walked to the line .... this was the 4th quarter I think .... from what I could gather he got no signal from the sideline what to run, he just called a play superquick, calmly and authoritatively ..

At that point the timeout from the sideline was noticed and timeout was called on the field.

Maybe this was what Bill was talking about when he said Romo's "mind races ... he had 2-3 plays to suggest on the sideline." The main thing though is that Romo had a play to call, in a split second, in a kind-of-pressure situation, simulated pressure anyway ...

Kind of like it's either impressive or kind of comical that Romo, year before last, called the QB sneak at the line with a few seconds left to win the preseason game can't remember against who ... either he's a genius or a knucklehead ...

I don't know how impressive that was...I was calling my own plays on the playground when I was in first grade. :)

The reason why noone is talking about this is because there is no evidence to support this happening.

And even had it gone down like you suggest which I doubt then we still do not know that the play he called was a good one. This Romosexual lovefest is gathering steam.

I mean heck it would seem that he can walk on water and kill bears with his bare hands.
