The Denver Broncos are simply a better, more efficient football team. We played great, but when it came down to it, they stopped us and we couldnt stop them.

And if Cundiff made that kick, it would have changed the game completely. The Broncos would have played offense different, and would have gone for it on 4th down late in the 4th instead of punting, so you cannot say that had Cundiff made that, we would have won, because you just dont know.

Sorry but you're wrong, we dominated time of posession and caused more turnovers. This was our game and we blew it...just like they did against Seattle.. and Washington.

I agree - statistically we played better. Having said that, stats alone don't win games.

You HAVE to control turnovers (especially ones for touchdowns) and you can't be missing field goals a 3rd grader can make.

People are just pissed and want to blame somebody. Funny, the last two wins discouraged me about this team while this loss encouraged me.

You are right. NO ONE lost this game for us. But I will say EVERY ONE on the offensive line DID lose this game for us.

We missed some opportunities, but I don’t feel like Dallas threw this one away. We played a good team down to the wire.

Exactly, but that was nothing of Denver's doing. We handed them the game.

bottom line, if you can't run the ball on third and one, then you're not going to win many games. our running game sucks.

True - but to Denver's credit, they played well too. It was a hardfought game. We made to many CRUCIAL mistakes and you can't do that.

Cundiff makes it, we win........
if we can run the ball for one fricking yard for a first down, instead of some goofy pass, maybe Cundiff doesn't need to kick.

Yep, we ARE NOT a better team than the Broncos simply because we let them win. We had it. Sorry, that's the sign of a bad team.

I think we have come a long way from last year. We have played well in every game. (well enough to win em all in the last 2 minutes). We have learned to lose close games, win close games.

I think we have a bad O line that will get fixed this offseason. That will improve pass protection and run blocking. Effectively neutralizing our weakness, Draft a FS and some WRs.

Remember this was a rebuilding year. Look at how far how fast we have come. I think we are going to be ok. Barring injuries, we will get better on D. Till the O line gets better talent, it wont get much better, but when it does, the Backs will flurish. With Barber hitting safties first instead of linemen or backers, he will break a few more long ones. Jones will be able to dance again. Bledsoe or Romo will be comfy and have time to let Crayton and the boys do their thing.

Give it time. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will the boys be. But next offseason should address through FAy the O line and FS and draft FS and WR. Then you will see the consistency you crave. Till then, its the thrill a minute offense and the barely bend and never break D show.

It's not necessarily a sign of a bad team. We are a good team. We have to improve, no doubt but...we are not a bad team.

We played great

We didn't play great at all. We played pretty poorly overall, but we still should have beaten one of the AFC's best teams. We lost because our offense gave up seven points, our kicker missed a chip-shot field goal, and Denver won the coin toss and made the first big play in overtime.

The only condolence is that this team seems to have proved that even when everything doesn't go well, it's still good enough to play with -- and have a chance to beat -- any team that we might face in the playoffs, with the possible exception of Indianapolis (not that we couldn't win, but we just haven't proved that yet, since we haven't faced a team like that).

Against Denver, we couldnt have played much better in the second half, especially on defense. As poorly as the first half went, we shouldnt have even had a chance, but outside of the missed FG and the 3rd and 1 play, we played very well in the second half.

I agree. Despite the bad early interception, I thought Drew played his best game since Flozell went down. We won 2 of the last 3 - nobody could have expected all 3 to be wins. Even with the best teams like Seattle, NY and Denver, we're right there tied with 1 minute to go.

The Denver Broncos are simply a better, more efficient football team.

I'll give Denver credit for winning, but they didn't look like the more efficient team to me. At the end of regulation, Dallas had a 74 net yard advantage, a 27 yard penalty advantage, and a 12 minute time of possession advantage.

I'm not trying to not their QB, but it sure helps the Pats when they have Vinatieri always making crucial field goals. I'd be happy if our kicker could just make the ones he's supposed to make.
