Exactly but very very important.

This season is gonna be a **** show.

Cowboys are finally putting it all together and its the year of the apocalypse. I knew when the Blue Star drafted a Lamb it was all over
Without proper strength and conditioning the season is going to be a disaster. Hamstring issues galore at the very least.

Good luck having a dominant run game with linemen not at peak strength.

Gyms across the country were shut down. So aside from the vets who’ve made their money, the lower guys were using whatever equipment was mailed to them and these guys are used to being told their daily routine. I doubt zoom accountability was top notch for these guys getting work in with what they were given.

Then defensively there’s no way they’ll pick up a complex scheme in 3 weeks.

This is going to be a 7-9 season at best. Hope McCarthy gets a year added to his deal to avoid shouldering the load for this abomination they’re about to roll out.

The NFL saying safety first loses all credibility to go from couch status for 7 months to a first game with just 3 weeks of work by the time they can actually start practicing.

No preseason games? Should make final cuts interesting.

Whenever the NFL decides it might be best to forego something that cuts into their profits, it's a clear signal that the situation warrants it.

The players have been reported to be the ones who originally suggested that such a decision should be forthcoming. They'll be pleased.

How is a late round draft pick or undrafted free agent supposed to make the team with 14 practices and no preseason games?

Good question. I imagine it will make the staff's decisions a good deal harder.

They'll probably have to make evaluations mainly based upon their practices.

There's no question but what it'll be extremely difficult seeing enough of them.

Next, we will hear starting the season in October. That will be followed by December and the next thing we know.......football in the Spring. It is not a good sign when things start getting cut and week one will be no exception

It'll be wild. Depth will become a more crucial factor than ever before!
Rosters may grow to replenish the injured and opt-out players. :flagwave:

If it’s about safety, which most of the the players say it is, then go ahead and cancel the entire season or is there suddenly a price tag on “safety” once real games start?

it's the same conditions for everyone, we have the same OC.there is no reason our offense should not shatter all cowboy record with the talent we have.

Likely no regular season games either...

Becareful saying that, some will attack you as a fear monger.

at this point I am hoping no preseason games is more to protect players from trying to get up to strength too fast and potentially hurting themselves...here’s hoping for a season but very doubtful of one

I don't at all see how something isnt set up where theres like a 20 man practice squad. At least.

They HAVE to pair the loss of preseason with that.

Teams cant roll per normal without a normal preseason.

They won’t shatter all cowboy records because they won’t be at their peak Individual performance to do so.

It’s going to be an ugly product everywhere. And when you factor how the defense will probably be bottom 10 as they figure out the new scheme on the field and not just in zoom meetings, that affects how the offense performs when you’re always playing catch up.
