If they are that worried they should just trade him. He is a top 3 WR in the game and has never missed a game because of disciplinary reasons. Dez has been everything and more than we hoped for, pay him.
He needs the money. He has a 2 million dollar Bugatti in layaway right now! On the field Dez is a genius, off it he's a moron!
Cole, an NFL insider citing unnamed sources, said the Cowboys are not budging from their long-term offer, worth "approximately $20 million guaranteed and subsequent guarantees later on."
That is the first time a have seen a "staggered" guarantee mentioned outside of Cowboyszone. That could push the "guaranteed" money into the 40m range and would be a big step forward for DAL.
They may end up trading him at some point. I hope not but the team seems to be very hesitant guaranteeing him a lot of money and $20M guaranteed won't come close to getting him signed.
1. Emmitt situation was different.
2. Depends how bad
3. Means he has a hard time staying staying away from practice much less a game.
That's the part I want to know. Is dez side budging any? If they aren't I don't blame the cowboys.
One of those things at least will not be true
MO' money. No different.
If he sits we lose.
Same.

After the 3 points listed, where is it for Dez's side to budge?
Reported talks between representatives for wide receiver Dez Bryant and Dallas Cowboys management yielded "no progress" over the weekend, according to Bleacher Report analyst Jason Cole.
Cole, an NFL insider citing unnamed sources, said the Cowboys are not budging from their long-term offer, worth "approximately $20 million guaranteed and subsequent guarantees later on."
The Cowboys placed the franchise tag on Bryant this offseason, but he has yet to sign the tender which will net him nearly $13 million next season. The deadline is July 15 for the Cowboys to reach a long-term deal with Bryant.
Bryant has threatened to sit out the first game of the season if no such deal is in place.
Cole said there were three main reasons no progress was made:
1. The Cowboys believe Bryant is bluffing about missing games.
2. The Cowboys believe Bryant "ultimately needs the money."
3. The Cowboys are encouraged by Bryant's appearances at camp this offseason.

Not the same at all. Dez CAN'T get more money after July 15th.
All he will accomplish is losing games and losing 750k a week.
His teammates won't even back him on this one.
Why do the Cowboys get tight when it comes to great players? They willfully hand the likes of Roy Williams, Jay Ratliff, Miles Austin etc... huge deals but want to haggle with Dez. Ugh
It's called getting smarter

If losing Dez is smart I would love to be the dumbest man alive.
