On the open market you couldn't be more wrong.

There isn't a single team with a good FO that will give a hot head with maturity issues and a bad back 40 mill guaranteed

Now if Dez wants to play for the raiders or jags then he is welcome to his money

The Cowboys should have Dez okay on the franchise tag and be done with it

Tell that to the owner that has to write a 40m check and put it in escrow and then hope Dez doesn't do anything stupid for 3 years or just get hurt.

If Dez can't get by on a deal that would guarantee him 52m before March of 2017 he can leave, hopefully for draft picks.

We could then sign or draft any other WR in the league.

The Cowboys are in the driver's seat and they know it and they are acting like it. I think even Dez is coming around to that realization.

They are being smart and doing what is best for the team, balancing both the short term and the long term.

Anyone see Kobe Bryant's tweet today. Dez should steal it...

I applaud any attempt by Cowboys new GM (Stephen Jones) to exercise financial responsibility after decade or so of baseless, over-valued bad contracts. Now Dez is much better player than Ratliff, Barber, Hamlin and Roy Williams of the world and Dallas should be careful to not insult Dez with too low of contract. But Dallas really should just sit tight with franchise tag and see how this plays out this season. If Dez can't handle that is he really the person to leverage good portion of future salary cap with then?

If you don't think Dez would get 40 guaranteed on the open market just stop talking about such things. It's not your Forte.

One of Dez's biggest problems early-on was his inability to manage his money with the necessary self control.

Evidently, that problem is lingering. Jerry has had to co-sign his purchases lately. Some things never change.

I straight up don't believe that we're only offering Dez $20 mil guaranteed. He would be better off with the tag two years then going somewhere and signing a real contract.

Hiring a financial adviser would be a good idea for Dez,,, he may have got the training wheels off from his first set of life counselors but he is venturing into new territory now.

They were talking about this on the radio the other day. Do you know that Gronk, of the Pats, Mr Party Animal has never spent one dime of his NFL contracts money? He lives on the money he makes for endorsements. Now that's Genius. He will never have to work another day in his life after football.

A July 4th sign would be very fitting. Jerry would dominate headlines on a national holiday. getter done jerry!

It doesn't matter what you think.

He isn't on the open market.

Try to keep up.

You brought up this hypothetical saying no team would offer him 40m. I simply responded saying you couldn't be more wrong.

You're a joke dude.
