I'd rather see us trade up if need be and add 3 frontline players at CB, WR, and RB. Not trade up for DMC but move up a little if need be to pick the right players. This team doesn't need alot of picks for depth like the dolphins.

We need a future #1 WR, Starting caliber CB, a complete RB to back up MB3 and another quality corner for depth. After that they can add some depth and special teams upgrades.

I would rather have 4 or 5 really good picks than half a dozen 5-7 rders.

If we can get a CB at #22 I'm all for trading down from #28, but only if we get multiple 2nd or 3rd rounders this year. The draft is deep for RBs but top heavy and most WRs don't look to be 1st rounders. There are a few teams with early 2nd rounders that may want to move up to get a QB.

Those aren't the only 2 options. If DMc, Stewart or Mendenhall falls to #22 I think we should grab them. Then take a CB at #28. Barber is cheap this year so we should wait to see what he can do as a starter before making a long-term commitment.

I want quality players, period. Personally for me it's a thing of wanting McFadden for that reason and not really seeing the true value of a 22 & 28 pick, with the risk that comes with a late pick like that, versus moving up for the sure thing. I'm happy as long as at least one pick is something we really like when it's all said 'n done.

I would like to have Darren McFadden, but if it's going to cost us Marion Barber, I believe personally it ain't worth it....

...and saying that. Moving up our 2 picks via trade-up definately works for me. Increasing the chances of not only getting 1 quality player out of this draft, but two. I just don't want us to stay put and settle when guys we really want are within our reach.

#1 dmc will not fall past #6

#2 doesn't matter what barber does this year cause he's gonna get hurt and will cost too much for that reason.

#3 mcfadden can carry the load and can do it all. jerry will be making a huge mistake if he passes on that kid.

Carpenter, Spears and Spencer may not have lived up to 1st round status yet, but we were really hamstrung by switching to a 3-4 defense. You have to get very specific players to switch and we took steady over potential.

Now that the D is solidly in place, we can take the best players available at #22 and #28 or trade down if no one is worthy.

how can you consider it passing on him if dallas doesn't have a shot at him.

You just traded both 1sts and dallas' 2nd........Yippeeee, you have Dmac, how do you fix the holes at CB and WR.

If we don't go after McFadden, it won't be because we're "passing" on him. It'll be because the price is too high. We don't know what Jerry has up his sleeve. I'm sure he's considering all of the scenarios.

ok maybe "passing on him" is the wrong term. but everybody knows jerry has several available trading partners in the top 5

Fat guy or not, dallas needs a 3rd CB and a Backup RB. Whats your plan? Or does it really not matter to you?

you know my plan for rb and we wouldn't have to worry about a backup rb unless a team is dumb enough to give us a 1st and 3rd for barber. but than again if we got an extra 1st and 3rd there you go. as for a 3rd cb why do you feel like it has to come in the 1st round?

Doesn't but do you think a late 3rd rounder could play that #3 spot right away?

And I mispoke, I meant to ask about WR instead of RB.

The NFL is a passing league and a 3rd CB is on the field a lot. The draft has 5-6 CBs worthy of a 1st Round pick and taking one in the draft is a lot cheaper than Free Agency.
