I probably won't get my hopes up, but they won 2 division games at home. When they start winning on the road, I'll believe they have a shot at 8-8 or 7-9. Until then, they look like a 6-10 team, which is still pretty good for us.

agreed. all the 'pipe dreams' of mcfadden will hopefully at least die down to reality now. could come back into play later on as the season progresses but we're looking betweeen 6-10 for a pick at this point hopefully. still pretty damn good.

Then do ya'll think we should turn our attention to cornerbacks in the draft?

Either way Dallas should still be able to get a really good player with thier pick. Its a shame they didnt go with Brady early on, Anderson has shown he can make plays.

There are a lot of bad teams winning today. Still a lot of football to be played. Buffalo's winning, Atlanta's winning. Too early to make any definite statements re: where CLE will end up.

I don't think any of the CBs warrant a top 10 pick, but several guys will be good value later in round 1. If we wnd up too far away to get McFadden, trade down, get as many first day picks as possible and build a dynasty :D

That just really burns you, doesn't it?

I don't see why...

Fortunately, it doesn't seem that it is a big need right now.

agreed. there are no shut down corners that have really emerged yet.

dallasfan - i'd agree. if we get say pick 8 and there's just not a player screaming to be a cowboy, drop down and go to around 12-14 range and pick up another 2nd round pick or even more. then just BPA around positions of need and kinda mix the two.

slaton will be a good back also. maybe around pick 8-10 he'd be a good choice.

we'll see how it goes but we've just gotta stay open to all the possibilities available to us.

couldn't exactly tell you other than i think it just sets people up for disappointment or tunnel vision. it started before our 1st game was even played and it just made no sense to me.

if something makes no sense to you you talk about it. that's all.

there's so many ways and roads to go through still and some were actually acting like if we didn't get mcfadden we were doomed.

i could never tell why.

i agree, plus add the fact that there will be random players shoot up to the top 5 after the combine and maybe the player we want will drop

They should actually be 3-1 if it wasnt for Kiffin calling that TO before the FG, imo thats bush league. Browns are a lot better than we thought...

Browns just aren't as bad as we though they were going to be. A top ten pick would be nice even.

I think we have to go WR.

Glenn is brittle, and the fact he played 16 games last year was a miracle of sorts.

Owens is playing great, so he may be productive for a while. But it would be nice once we move on from Glenn and Owens that we can just keep going without missing a beat.

starting to remind me of having the Buffalo pick a few years ago - with the exception of the 'Boys record that season

I'm sort of happy about it, now we can resign Barber and start our search for the next great WR for the DAllas cowboys.

Good! NOw we can start our search for the next Cowboys great receiver and sign Barber long term, and then in the 2nd, we can find that change of pace back.

It's still early. Browns won't win more than 5 or 6. And we have the best team in the NFC. The Buffalo thing ended up hurting a bit because we stunk the next year. The Ravens are not good this year. Everyone thought they would be really good but they have stunk it up to start the season.
