he wasn't. He was praising ONE reporter. Is reading comprehension a problem for you? While clearly a homer, this was as good a detailed recounting of any game that I have read in a long time.

Great article! Why don't you DFW media guys sack up and do something this good?

Oh. That would take effort.

.
No that would be WAY too much effort. Why do some real work or somethng constructive when its so much easier just to point a finger at the head coach or QB and blame the world's problems on them?

Not as much of a homer as you might imagine. Duncan is the Saints beat writer, but that doesn't mean he is a fan, per se. He can be very critical of them. I must agree, I do love his film study articles following every game. He also post video blogs during the week and keeps a steady pace of Saints tweets throughout the day. Many Saints fans don't like him because he is honest and doesn't hold his punches.

Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams wanted to keep the mobile Tony Romo in the pocket, because statistics show Romo throws more efficiently while on the run and in space.
I'd like to see a comparison of how many times Roy has been targeted on designed plays as opposed to improvised passes.

I really liked how this game was officiated.

It was a game where you had two teams playing at a very high level and I thought the refs did a very good job of making the teams themselves swing the momentum (which both did with their play) instead of penalties as you so often see.

The Scandrick hands to the face gave the Saints a free 1st down but was a very legit and consistently called penalty throughout the season. There were a couple opportunites to flag the Boys with PI but the refs let it go. On the flip side I thought the refs missed a couple times we were held. The hold on Ratliff (I think) was incredibly obvious and yet somehow was missed.

The refs were content to sit in the background on this game and I thought it played out very fairly as a result. I suspect it helps the refs as well when the other teams play at such a high level.

That is lot better then the drivel we get otherwise around here. Why can't this be posted here instead of the garbage that is always sent instead?

It was right in front of me...henderson had two yards on Jenkins. Enjoy it.

Oh, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The Cowboys dominated the Saints in every facet for three and a half quarters. New Orleans' only glimmer of hope resulted from two costly Dallas mistakes late in the fourth quarter: Roy Williams' drop on 3rd and 5, and Nick Folk's missed FG. Both problems have been remedied this week.

man, Jenkins could have easily picked off that pass to Devery Henderson in the end zone, and just as easily could've given up a really bad TD.

I liked this as well. I was telling my wife that the refs are letting them play ball. I HATE when the refs dictate a game. HATE it. Happens way to often, IMO.
