Okay we all know that Barber and Canty are getting the 1st round tender right? Well what is the worst case scenario for the off season.
We lose both Barber and Canty for 1st round picks. They were both drafted in the 4th I think so it would have been a good investment. I doubt Jerry would let either of them go for anything over 10th overall so you figure we get 2 top ten picks. What does that mean? that means we could add some real youth to this team. It also means Jerry will get his boy McFadden and could have him share time with Turner if they can manage to reunite him with Wade. I would not use a 1st on CB or WR in this draft I would not use one on safety either and here is why.
We could pick Jordy Nelson WR up in the 3rd round, He is a very good young wide out. I think he is a better #3 then Crayton and one day could be a great #2 or a good #1.
We can take Justin King in the forth round, he is a very exciting player. One of the best CB's in the draft in my opinion. I see him as the next Dieon Sanders. He can play CB, WR and Return man.
I really feel we need to start looking for Roy Williams replacement, and I may have found him. Dominique Barber, name sound familiar? it should because it is Marion's little brother. He plays with the same fire and passion as his older brother. Can you imagine that fire passion and intensity on defense? and we thought Roy hit hard...
We could trade two of our first round picks to add some much needed talent that can make an immediate impact at WR and CB.
Trade a first round pick for Roy Williams.
Trade a first round pick for Deangelo Hall.
With the other top ten pick we get for Canty or Hall I would have to take a shot at Vernon Gholston. He may even drop out of the top ten because of a less then impressive combine workout.
I think we should seriously consider trading our 6th rounder to the Titans for Adam Pacman Jones.
We could then get rid of the following players. Reeves, Henry, Glenn, Ferguson and Ayodele.
We could also restructure Romo's contract and we would have more then enough space to lock our players up next off season.
So to everyone in an uproar about the tenders take a look at this team and tell me you are still worried.
