Normally failure creates change

Like you DZ, I hate Philly but I would be lying if I didn’t say their GM runs circles around our FO duo who thinks they are just “unlucky”.

Add rams GM Les Snead to the names of great GMs the Jones boys should study. (He’s 29 years younger than our GM)

I wish I had a dollar for every time one of our fans the last decade has laughed at the rams being “too aggressive” with their cap, trading draft picks, etc. And they have 2 NFC championships and a Lombardi to show for it with two different QBs and host of different players. Meanwhile as Stephen constantly reminds us, “we are more cap responsible”.

When you have a GM who knows what’s he’s doing, is held accountable to succeed or be fired, and has a clear vision of how to do it, you have a chance to win a championship.

Honestly, right now we don’t have a realistic chance of winning a championship based on how this team is run. Zero.
Exactly those franchises priority is winning they don't mind compromising the bottom line for Super bowl wins.

Our front office will not compromise that bottom line for a Super bowl they want maximum profits.

This is why Jerry puts himself as the general manager because he certainly not going to pay someone else to try not to win and just be profitable he can do that himself.

He doesn't have to be the best at roster building he doesn't have to hire the best coaches that should be the first clue to anyone of what he's doing.
There is absolutely no salary cap on coaching and scouting and we are the most profitable franchise our owner is a billionaire why don't we have the best coaching and the best scouting.

Why do we have losers misfits retreads guys at the end of their career guys with no experience at
head coaching.
Most importantly guys that no one hires after we are done with them.
We can afford the very best and we hire mediocre at best.

It all points to exactly what it is a well-organized scam and the league isn't going to step in and say hey Jerry you have to compromise the bottom line and really try to win do you think the other owners care if we win no .

They care that there is a big viewing audience when they play our team and Jerry provides.

Everyone wins except the Dallas cowboy fans who are the ultimate losers in this whole corrupt farce that we suffer through every year.

Come on, I'm old, but I still know how to use the internet ;)

I just find it funny that in the past, at least for myself, being a cowboys fan meant following Landry and Staubach. It seems since Jerry has bought the team, you need to be following Jerry as well because he makes the news so much for being the owner.

I became a fan of Johnson and Aikman (along with the other players under both Landry and Johnson), but it seems I no longer have that "fan following" of the current players in part due to Jerry and his antics.

Most NFL fans can always blame the head coach, but the caveat with Cowboys fans is generally you have to go straight to the owner for all the issues only due to the fact that the owner wants you to know he's running the team.

Any fan who thought the cowboys were going to make the playoffs this year with the way this year went down is living in a fantasy world IMO. Does that make me a bad fan? Perhaps, but I'm a realist.
