The bottom line is Norman is a punk. Scheme Shmeme, you consider yourself the best, follow Dez every play. If he lines up in slot, you line up there. Revis in his prime was the best and didn't have to say a word.

That's not true. Norman has to play the scheme the coaches call. Dez caught 3 passes for 32 yards on Norman. I wouldn't necessarily brag about that if I was Dez. Just saying.
If the refs called the holding on Norman 100 percent of the time Dez would have had over a 100 yards in penalty yardage

Lol Norman covered him on 5 targets. Im sure when the film comes on in there locker room showing him getting burnt on that one play he's not gonna say ish

Just like Dez can only catch the passes he's thrown. He had a drop out of his 5 targets against Norman and I'm not sure about the other miss. He was however open multiple times, sometimes massively, that were missed. Dez should get credit for that and it should be a blemish on Norman. Stats aren't everything and if burn rate were ever to become widespread, Normans "stats" wouldn't look nearly as good as that 3 for 32 does. A WRs job is to get open and catch the passes thrown his way. You can't fault him for getting open, which he routinely was, and not getting targeted. That's on the QB.

True. But we don't know if he would have caught the pass either. Dez has dropped passes on occasion, though I wouldn't say he has the dropsies. But the final analysis is that you can only get credit for what you do. Being open but not getting the pass thrown to you does not factor into stats.

Dez had an average day. 5 catches off of 7 targets averaging 14 yards, half of those against Norman. That's what Dez averages every week. Norman hasn't done any better against him than anyone else this year.

So Dez is basically average. Is that what you're saying? ;)

I will complain about the one drop dez had with Norman all over him. Norman gets away with way too much crap

I would brag when he was burning Norman on the field because Norman was biting on plays early in the game. Yet again, for like the millionth time, Dez had a 50-60 yard TD if Dak would have saw Dez.

But you have some serious beef with Dez. Work on that.

No, I don't have serious beef with Dez. I'm just don't have a first-class ticket to sniff his rectum.
And again, with the "ifs". The way you guys talk about them, they should create a stat just for "ifs". I guess that's one way to get Romo a ring.

No, but stats don't tell near enough of the story when looking at DBs or WRs. A DB can not give up a single reception on the stat sheet and have a burn rate in the 80s for the day. A WR can not have a single reception but burn DBs at an 80% clip. Just because a QB doesn't target either party doesn't change the fact that one was doing their job and the other wasn't. Like I said, getting open and catching the passes thrown to you is a WRs job. Dez did that much better Thursday than any traditional stat sheet is going to show.

You listen to Norman talk. The guy honestly believes he's the best in The game. He's good but way overrated. Dez had a total of 7 targets. Odell gets an average of what?? 12-14 a game? Lol Norman is a clown, but he is right we have other weapons here, and he doesn't have the Carolina defense backing him up anymore

One thing I can agree on with Norman is Dez not being original. If you're going to talk smack at least bring your own material.

The media went after Bryant and Beckham after this idiot gave them dirty play. I hope the refs start keeping a closer eye on him. The Panthers had a reason for not keeping this moron. Commanders were his ideal landing place.

But him getting open and him catching the ball must be accounted for. You don't know if he catches the ball even if he gets open. So it's really a pointless argument.
Stats are based on what someone does, not what someone does not do. And when it comes to receiving, you must not only get open, you must catch the ball.

Some of ya'll are arguing just like Norman vs Dez and missing the forest for the trees. We've played them twice this year and beat them twice.

When the beginning of your insult is, "Yeah you won, but", you need to shut up.
