Lets get the wrong out of the way!
* Thought we were a 10-6 or 11-5 playoff team. We came a tad short but not by much
*Thought our Oline would perform better than they did. My second biggest gripe on this team. Dragged our running game down and did not protect Bledsoe.
* There could be a case made Als was missed - that one kills me to write. That said he's still hasta la vista baby!
* I thought Cundiff would step up - he stepped back
The rights on the Norsey!
* Leaving $5M Cap and not addressing FS, OT would bite us in the ***, it did
* We could make the 3-4 transition and all in all pulled it off. One more year of familiarty and Capers or a 3-4 guy installed we can really reap benefits...... I like our Core and we transitioned out front 7.
*Not signing Law was the biggest off season screw up league wide. Scooter man - 10 interceptions. Me things we buy Henry one and a boot to wear all offseason.
Grades -
Bledsoe - B Got the most out of limited protection. Won a bunch of games cardiac style. Showed his big play potential. Needs to play stronger down the stretch next year.
JJ - C One great game and a bunch of average games and "injury" bug bites again. Verdict pending Oline and a healthy season
Glenn - A My offensive MVP
Key - B+ Does all the work and is a passionate baller.
Oline - F
TE - Witten gets a B+ and is a stud. I'm tired of the great blocker Campbell. All I see is guys jail breaking Bledsoe and nailing our RB for 2 yards. Go get a big play TE to compliment Witten.
D ROOKS - Ware, Spears, Canty B- but a huge bright spot for our future
Burnett - Dude gotta stop all these surgeries and beat out the likes of Shanle, Fowler, James and Fajita or "maybe" he's busto. Injury may PUP or IR him next year - Grade D
Newman - A Solid year
Roy - B OVER RATED YEAR BUT STILL A HITTER! Has to work with Davis on coverage or we are never going to get better.
Kicking - F Thats 2 losses easy on missed FG's.
Coaching - C+ Oline coaching, playcalling and defensive scheming(non aggressive) not the best. Parcells isn't sleeping well because he knows he did not do a very good job this year. He'll be back to rectify. Or will he continue down same path?
