Ferguson OUT for the year. THATS BAD. Heres what we should do,....He's as old as the hills but Ted Washington can STILL clog the middle like nobodys business. The guys HUGE, like 370 pounds. We have 2 number ones next year, lets make Cleveland an offer they cant refuse and trade them a 4th rounder for big ted. Bet they would jump on it. He comes in on 1st 2nd down, Ratliff does the rest. We have to think of the here and NOW....if you think your close to a superbowl then you make that trade, I think we ARE. In fact I could see him and Rat forming an even more formidable tandem in the middle then we had with Ferg, albeit just for this season. Washington can REALLY be a human wall in the middle of a run defense.

Interesting, but I wouldn't give up a 4th for him. I bet he could be had for a conditional pick since Cleveland is going nowhere this year, and they know it.

Like I said, if you feel you are CLOSE to getting to a Superbowl then you go ahead and blow a 4th to make that trade. Cleveland is HORRID and needs all the picks it can get to rebuild, think they would jump at the chance. We basically RENT a player for a season to help us get to the BIG SHOW for the cost of a 4th round pick.

Gotta think Tank will get a look now. The rumors were out there all summer. Will Jerry look at him now? I suppose it depends on what he's doing now and what his legal issues are at this time.

................Wrong. Jamall Williams weighs around 350. We NEED that anchor in the middle on run downs. He's a vet thats played for some VERY GOOD DEFENSES, he's seen it all. If your close, you pay the price. Were not signing Tank Johnson I can tell ya that.

......Possible, But Warrens just not all that good. I think Ratliff has a BRIGHT future. I always have. All we need is that run plugger type on running downs. Washington fits the bill and can be had cheap.

......Pretty sure he is suspended for the 1st 8 games. Thats why signing him is almost useless.

If you want a really huge body to plug the middle, Dallas should trade Cleveland for Romeo Crennell. He's a lot bigger than Washington.

He is suspended for the first 8 games that he is on a team. Not sure how that will help us now. Tying up a roster spot for 8 games while we still have a need for a backup NT.
