Anybody notice that Demarcus Ware is 2nd in the NFC in Sacks. Somebody started a thread a while back saying he was a dissapointment. Forgot who it was though :p: .

It feels so good to see picks finally panning out. I dont have any complaints about any of our picks.

What is so impressive about Parcells' is his ability to find gems in better rounds. Would be great to get an analysis of Parcells' day two picks vs other coaches.

Wow, I know he has four, but second in the NFC?

I'm impressed. Today's was his best sack so far. Incredible speed off the corner.

And he can tackle too!

And if I remember correctly he dominated Seatle's LT in the preseason. Should be a good game, but I expect them to double Ware most of the game.

This has got to be the best DL rotation we've had in 10 years.

These rookies have made a huge difference...no doubt!

Ware is playing Very Well and I know this is talking about NFC but out of all the D rookies in the NFL D Johnson has 39tackles and 1 sack Ware has 16 tackles and 4 Sacks which is the better stat?

IMO the Sacks are worth more than tackles because I'm not sure you can tell where the tackles where. If they where down field or close to the line of scrimmage. We know that the Sacks are for losses so again I'd take the 4 sacks over the extra tackles.

In Dallas where we've lacked an outside pass rushing presence the sacks are more valuable.

They're playing completely different positions in completely different defenses. At this point I'd call it even.

Also, what impressed me today was that Ware was playing both OLB spots.

We're finally trying to confuse the offenses with the 3-4

On Ware's sack in that seattle game, for some reason the tackle went inside while the guard swung outside to block Ware. Of course ware ate that up, but I don't rememver Walter Jones struggling with ware.

Dont expect him to lead the league because thats just wrong. Just by being in the top 10 speaks for itself.

Leading tacklers each year have over 100 tackles

the leading sack artist each year has maybe 20, but that is HIGHT

so 1 sack =greater than 20 tackles!

My bad, I meant he is 2nd among linebackers.

Still not bad for a rookie :).

Thing that is great about Ware is that when he gets his hands on somebody they just go down.
His strength is something I didn't expect, evidenced also by the way he is either pushing offensive tackles around or holding his own with those that outweigh him by 50+ pounds.
Remember Mcnabb shaking off the tackles of various players, including Dallas players, over the years? He didn't do that when Ware got ahold of him last week. Ware just crumples his targets.

This is the second week in a row he's served notice on the opponent's first series. Last week he sacked McNabb, and this week he chased down Barber from behind. That play today wasn't as big as a sack, but backs, especially fast backs, hate being caught from the backside like that.

As talented as he is and as good a person as he is, he's going to be one of the best in the league before long.
