Every week they seem to lose 2-3 players. They have no luck, just bad luck.

Last year I would have been scared that he would give them our entire playbook.

Awww man! I was looking forward to our DB's having to cover a WR who only runs a 4.9 forty. Now, even though his replacement might have no experience... I bet he can still run though.

Oh well... we'll just have to manage.

I think his replacement is Roscoe Parrish the 'U'. He is quick and fast.

Bills putting WR Peerless Price on IR. Bills announced that Price would undergo surgery to repair a disc in his neck.

Hate to see guys get hurt, but this can only be good news for the Cowboys, the 2ndary and most importantly, Jacques Reeves. I hope this means they can be more aggressive at the DLine and go after the QB!

well, injuries are part of football so whatever helps us win is ok with me as long it isn't a paralizing injury. I hate to see those. I think we'll be just fine in Buffalo.

After just four games, Price becomes eighth Bills player to land on IR

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills receiver Peerless Price's season is likely over after he was scheduled to have surgery Friday to repair a disc in his neck.

Coach Dick Jauron said the team will place Price on injured reserve, making him the eighth Bills player -- and fourth starter -- on the season-ending list five weeks into the campaign. However, the Bills will get Keith Ellison back after the linebacker missed most of September with an ankle injury.

The announcement came as a surprise, because Price had not missed practice until Friday. He was noticeably stiff -- unable to turn his neck -- when he spoke to reporters at his locker Wednesday.

Jauron said he believed the neck problem developed over the course of Price's career and was not the result of a particular hit. In four starts this season, the nine-year NFL veteran had seven catches for 68 yards.

The Bills (1-3), preparing to host the Dallas Cowboys (4-0) on Monday night, made two roster moves Friday. They placed reserve linebacker Kevin Harrison on IR and activated Anthony Hargrove after the backup defensive end completed a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Harrison hurt his knee on the opening kickoff of Buffalo's 17-14 win over the New York Jets last weekend. The Bills had signed Harrison just last week to bolster their banged-up linebacker corps.

Price's injury means the Bills will rely more on slot receivers Roscoe Parrish and Josh Reed to take the focus off starter Lee Evans. Buffalo's offense has lacked chemistry this season, with rookie Trent Edwards producing the team's first touchdown pass of the season -- a 1-yarder to tight end Michael Gaines -- in last weekend's 17-14 win over the New York Jets.

Edwards' 234 yards passing against the Jets was a season high after the Bills combined for 352 yards in their first three games.

The third-round draft pick will make his second straight start Monday, filling in for J.P. Losman, who sprained his left knee.

Price is in his second season back with the Bills, who initially selected him in the second round of the 1998 draft out of Tennessee. Price spent his first four years with Buffalo and enjoyed his best career season in 2002, when he had 94 catches for 1,252 yards and nine touchdowns playing alongside Eric Moulds.

Unable to meet his contract demands, the Bills traded Price to Atlanta the following year, but the receiver did not duplicate his production.

The Falcons released him before the 2005 season, and he played seven games with Dallas before re-signing with the Bills last year.

Information from ESPN.com senior writer John Clayton and The Associated Press was used in this report.

It was just reported by several sources in Buffalo that starting wide receiver Peerless Price will miss the Cowboy game and is out for the rest of the season due to the herniated disk.

Another tough loss for the Bills.

BuffaloNews.com: Peerless Price out for the season

Peerless Price out for the season
http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/story/177802.html
By Mark Gaughan - News Sports Reporter

Receiver Peerless Price is the ninth member of the Buffalo Bills to be lost for the season due to injury.

Buffalo Bills starting receiver Peerless Price was ruled out for the season by the team today due to a disc problem in his neck that will require surgery.

Price becomes the ninth Bills player to go out for the season due to injury.

Bills coach Dick Jauron said Price will undergo an operation later today and he would be placed on the injured reserve list next week. The injury came as a surprise to the Bills.

Price complained of neck stiffness on Wednesday. He was in more discomfort on Thursday and had a magnetic resonance imaging test that discovered the severity of the problem. Jauron said he believed that the neck problem was a cumulative injury and not the result of any specific play in a recent game.

Jauron said Josh Reed and Roscoe Parrish will share duty as the starter opposite Lee Evans in the two-receiver set. Sam Aiken also likely will see more time on the field at receiver.

For a full report on the Bills, see Saturday's Buffalo News.

Well, NFL.com has Roscoe Parrish this year having 14 catches for 141 yds and 0 TDS
Josh Reed has 10 catches for 128 yds and 0 TDS.
I know Parrish has some talents on punt return but with a 10 yard per catch average it doesnt seem that they try to use him to stretch the defense. Ofcourse he'll be used differently now as the starter.

Nine players on IR after a quarter of the season is brutal. Those fans must be wondering if they're cursed or something. I'll feel sorry for them after next Monday unless they pull off a miracle and beat us.

Beat-Up Bills Lose Price For Season

IRVING, Texas - Buffalo began the week with seven players already on injured reserve, along with starting quarterback J.P. Losman already ruled out of Monday night's game against the Cowboys with a sprained knee..

That list of season-ending injuries now has stretched to eight.

Bills wide receiver Peerless Price is now out for the season after undergoing surgery Friday on a bulging disk in his neck. The nine-year veteran who spent the 2005 season with the Cowboys, began experiencing some discomfort in his neck Wednesday, but was not expecting the injury to be this serious.

While Bills head coach Dick Jauron is obviously disappointed by yet another loss, he foresees no major changes at the wide receiver position.

"Josh (Reed) and Roscoe (Parrish) are the same and Sam's (Aiken) role will be increased, and their numbers will move a little bit and we'll just cover it that way," Jauron said on BuffaloBills.com Friday.

Price's injury is another blow to the Bills' already rocky season. Buffalo has three starters on the injured reserve list and another seven players out for Monday's game against the Cowboys.

Fourth-string weak-side linebacker Mario Haggan will start for the Bills Monday. Starter Keith Ellison (ankle) is still listed as questionable and figures to be the back-up weakside linebacker with Cory Wire (knee) and Kevin Harrison (knee) out.

The Bills will also start third-string cornerback Jabari Greer, who will replace Aston Youboty (ankle), who was starting for original starter Jason Webster, on IR with a broken forearm.

Free safety Jim Leonhard (calf) also is expected to be in street clothes Monday, giving the recently-signed Brian Scott a likely start.
