Aikman: The joke around practice has been, any time Price is in the huddle Bledsoe is looking for him and looking to get him the ball. Bledsoe has been campaigning <sp> to get Price on the field in recent weeks b/c he does like what he can do.

What do you think about this? Had Bledsoe been campaning <sp> for Price prior to Crayton's injury?

Personally, I'm excited about what I perceive is a very undervalued and talented WR.

BTW, nice job hanging on to the punt he got drilled on in the 1st.

Moving on,

Fujita is contributing, but not as much as he will be the week after next, the week after that ...the week after that...

Trufant: Being a Boys fan in Seattle, I have always compared Newman to Trufant (Unlike many of the Leftwich/Suggs posters). Trufant has performed better thus far...no question. However, for the first time since the draft, I'd take Newman. Nah, nevermind.

T. Glenn is not just a deep threat. He's got the hands of a 'possesion' receiver. I see Price giving Glenn the chance to excel in routes Keyshawn currently runs.

Jeramy Stevens: Poor draft pick by Seattle. IMO, he was very high on our board and for good reason. He has tremendous skills and a physically gifted body. He was spoiled and ran w/ enablers here at UW and couldn't escape them playing in Seattle. Had he been a rookie in a strange town, I believe he could have been very special.

There isn't a better open field tackler then Roy...is there?

Okeafor and Berry really worry me this week.

I know they always say this, but it was raining a lot harder then could be seen on tv.

No question? I'd say there's no question Newman has been better.

Newman was much better than Trufant in their rookie seasons. Newman "struggled" last season, but he still was better than Trufant in EVERY statistical category (Trufant allowed the most yards passing in the league, was thrown at more than any other cornerback and was near the bottom in completion percentage allowed, yards allowed per attempt and touchdowns allowed). And Newman has been much better this season, without question. In fact, most Seahawks fans are disappointed with the way Trufant has played this year.

.

1st, Newman has been ALOT better than Trufant, ALOT...and Trufant didnt play through a knee injury all of last yr either

as for not worrying about Berry and Okeafor, you must be joking...their defense is very active and aggressive...these two guys can both rush the passer and both tackle spots are weaknesses for us...their secondary is weak, but we might not be able to exploit it because 1) we probably wont have many people going into routes again, because we have to help the two weak tackles in protection and/or 2) pass protection robably wont be good

Obviously they were too busy beating him about the head and shoulders because he had the audicity to imply that Trufant has been better than Newman to even notice.

Bawhahaha!!!

It is a fascinating phenomenon, is it not?

Even as you give the guy props, you are taken to task for what you didn't say. LMAO!

I can only attribute the Stalinist approach to the vengeance with which Poor Tnew was unfairly bashed in some quarters last season. And to the sneaking suspicion on the part of his idolators it's partly about Henry and what he brings as a partner.

The over-reaction is just a bit too irrational.

Lets think hard about this. They have 2 DE who want a sack on every play and will be rushing upfield at full speed every friggin play. MB3 and TT are speed guys. What play should we run?

I expect a shatload of draw plays this weak. With Flo down the interior of our line is our new strength. Let the OT's ride there guys out of the play and let the RB's explode on their crappy run D.
