Nothin' Like Sunday Football

There's nothing like Sunday football, ya know?! Woke up to a nice fall day here with hopes and expectations of a big game by our Cowboys today.

What's everyone's plans to watch the game? I'll be ordering some food (maybe wings), have a couple beers and sit back and relax. Probably just me, as most of my friends round here are Pats fans unfortunately.

We need a big bounce back from last week. Lets Go Cowboys!

The word "relax" never even enters my household on a Sunday when the Cowboys play. I probably wouldn't even relax if they were up like 13-0 with four minutes left in the game.

But, after a win, there really is no better feeling.

Lived in Boston for 18 months and Hartford for another 18.

Felt like a prison sentence with the way that the Commanders performed.

wow. back on line after a week, my work blocked this website, the bastids. But I have a work around for now, while I'm off site. But not back at Dallas.

It's an hour drive to Montreal, so I stopped off at work on my way (might as well make a few extra bucks) Will watch the game downtown Montreal at Champs. Leaving in a few minutes.

I go back to Dallas Friday But only for 2 weeks (3 weekends) then come back here for a month, and hopefully that's it, get back for the remainder of the season. But I'll see 3 games from there. Get back home before dead bird day arrives.

Staying closer to Montreal next time, at a hotel with internet so I don't need to rely on having access at work. 20 minute drive to sports bar instead of an hour.

Let's get on a winning track Cowboys, do it up right this time.

Well, been clearing land behind my house for my yard (more lawn cutting, I'm an idiot) and for firewood because I don't want to have to buy too much oil at $2.59/gallon.

So, I have a fire pite piled 15 feet high with bruch and small tree limbs. A little gas, some marshmellows, chocolate and grahm crackers make smores.

Left the kids to tend the fire, the fed that sucker, right up until I heard the fire station whistles. Good thing my next door neighbor is the fire captain, he came over to warn me, got the hose out, but the FD and PD stilled showed up.

The cop was an old aqquantice too, no citation, but I think I'm on the lookout list now.

Imagine, having to get a burning permit from now on in Jarvland.

Anyhow, 1 hour and 15 minutes to go, got a chicken to roast.
