Used the fanspeak.com on-the-clock simulator. They have us with an additional 6th instead of a third 4th.
No way do I see some of these players lasting where they did, but I can't control that so I drafted them anyway.
21: R1P21 EDGE HAROLD LANDRY BOSTON COLLEGE
- Much needed speed off the edge and insurance for the likely franchise-tagged Demarcus Lawrence.
53: R2P21 LB ROQUON SMITH GEORGIA
- More speed. This playmaking LB will be Sean Lee's successor.
85: R3P21 CB HOLTON HILL TEXAS
- Lanky, long CB will remind some of Richard Sherman. If he goes pro early, 3rd round would be a steal.
123: R4P21 LB CAMERON SMITH USC
- Another guy who would have made mistake declaring early if he lasts this long. If Roquan Smith is Sean Lee's replacement at WILL, Cameron Smith will replace Lee as the leader of the defense.
136: R4P34 CB ANTHONY AVERETT ALABAMA
-Already added one CB but couldn't pass on Averett here. He has the speed and athleticism to match up with top WRs. Landing these two corners in the draft would allow the team to move on from Orlando Scandrick's contract.
173: R5P35 WR MICHAEL GALLUP COLORADO STATE
- Little chance that Gallup lasts this long after the year he is having.
176: R5P38 RB AKRUM WADLEY IOWA
- Time to find a back-up for Zeke with Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden leaving via free agency.
200: R6P21 DL RASHEEM GREEN USC
- A huge mistake if Green left early and makes it to the 6th round. He's played three spots on the USC d-line and much like Tyrone Crawford, could switch between DE and DT in the pros.
213: R6P34 WR DAVID SILLS WVU
-This one-time teen QB prodigy has become a TD scoring machine as a WR. He has great size at 6-4 and offers some trickery and creativity to the offense with his versatility.
243: R7P21 S KYZIR WHITE
- In real life, I would have jumped on him 5 rounds ago. Probably may favorite 2018 draft prospect (along with Florida's Taven Bryan).
