Probably not.

We certainly aren't shy using preseason to evaluate New York and Washington.

Penalties were getting worse over Garrett's first two years.

2009 and 2010 they were under 7 per game. 2011 and 2012 they were over.

The only season that's been better thus far is 2013.

This is not a playoff team fellas, its just not.

It looks more like a 6 or 7 win team to be honest..................not trying to be pessimistic, just giving my honest opinion.

And you know this from a crystal ball? Nobody knows how the season will play out untill it plays out. Give we give the team a chance to play 1 regular season game

You are right I was wrong about each season but they did improve last season and until this season starts we have no idea if they get better. I only see the arrows pointing North for this young and talented team

there is only one nfc team that has not won a preseason game I agree I think this Is a 6 win team. There are just so many questions on the defense and im not so sure the offensive line is as good as people think.

I didn't see the game, but are people saying this is preseason and people shouldn't be getting worried, when our QBs frailty is questionable and he is on his back at least more than once? I'm sorry, but if this is preseason, then the very key to our season should not be on his back.

Part of that could probably be attributed to Bill Callahan and his conservative philosophy. I think we Linehan, you go to a risk-taker. Some people on this forum were arguing that this move would lead to a lot of pressure on the OL and thus, Romo.

I know there's little preparation for pre-season games but this looks like the same garbage we've seen for umpteen years. When will this team decide it wants to win ballgames? Penalty after Penalty after Penalty.

I'm putting this season on Garrett personally. This team shows life early or he's gone. I don't care about how shorthanded this defense is. It's his side of the ball (you know- the one where he's taken a step back and down so he couldn't screw up any further) that shows the most inconsistency in terms of performance week to week.

We know the defense is going to stink to high heaven, but this offense better be humming given the weapons and talent acquisition on that side of the football. If we lose ten games it better be because the other team scored 40 to our 30 each week. I'm so sick of Redball I want to puke even if it is the pre-season. This entire team needs a good punch in the face before SF, and hopefully this was it.

all right , first come off the ledge...lets not have a melt down (or is it too late).

and penalties have been an issue here under garrett, wade, parcells and before him. not sure why....

and the offense will be fine.....

However, I think it all stems from the fact that it's always something with this team. The only thing I can say, "Hey, we addressed that issue and can move onto something else" is kicking. I think a lot of us were hoping the offensive line would be item #2 on that list, I sure am.

Its more like its always something with a set of this fanbase.
