The last thing the Cowboys need to be doing is playing it close to the vest. The Cowboys play better football when they open it up and attack. From here on out the Cowboys need to do this on offense, and I expect them to do just that on Monday night.
Honestly, I hope we do attack.
But do you really think we will?
I don't think we will.
I love Parcells, but this is what he'll see.
--a wounded Eagle team with nothing to lose
--Monday Night Football away
--rabid Philly fans
--Jim Johnson with a second opportunity at us
--Tucker and Petitti (no offense PittDawg) at OT
--a team that has turned the ball over in four straight games (and a fumbled snap in nearly every game)
--Andy Reid with an opportunity to adjust his scheme
--a McNabb that's moving better
--and an Eagle team that hasn't lost three straight in how long?
Unfortunately, I think we'll play it close to the vest....especially, early. Team's that are playing on an emotional high can go one of two ways. One, they can blow assignments and get their butt kicked. Two, they fly all over the place and create big plays.
I think punching them in the mouth early is the way to beat them. But I don't think we'll do that.
