Groan!"Not Jason" Garrett Gilbert?
Groan!"Not Jason" Garrett Gilbert?
What's wrong with a little humor on occasion? Why does a player HAVE TO HAVE a nickname? Most nicknames come from either something they did or or their style of play or sometimes coaches have a hard time with a name so they give them a nickname, but why do fans have to give a player a nickname?

It's gonna be hard to beat Nucci Mane.
Simple. GrapeIt's gonna be hard to beat Nucci Mane.
Nothing, I laugh at a lot of things here. In fact I think it's funny that fans here could make up a nickname for a player and then everybody who wasn't around when the name is given then is supposed to know who posters are talking about because a tiny fraction of Cowboys fans here name it and isn't used outside of this site. It's a lot different if national media or announcers give a player a nickname but a fan here deciding on a nickname is just funny. Do you think the sporting world would know who Roger the dodger was if a tiny fraction of fans made up the nickname?

this wasn't a national campaign to seriously give an unknown qb a nickname. it was someone on these threads having a bit of fun. don't you get that. and as for roger, he was roger the dodger while at the naval academy. i was a freshman there his senior year. get a grip, sheldon.Nothing, I laugh at a lot of things here.
