Ravens Player Grateful Cowboys Deal Didn't Happen

The Baltimore Ravens nearly found themselves in a situation where they had to potentially cut ties with the veteran wide receiver, Rashod Bateman.
Before inking a deal with the Baltimore Ravens, Bateman was rumored to be a target for the Dallas Cowboys. Bateman was likely open to making his way to Texas, but at the end of the day, he's thankful to remain in his current situation with the Ravens.
"I went through a lot of things with the Cowboys and all of that with my contract," Bateman told The Athletic. "There was a time when I didn't know what was going to happen. (The Cowboys talks) were a thing, for sure. It was a possibility. I don't want to deny that."

To be honest Bateman is a trash WR anyways. Always hurt and drops balls.
Be just like Dallas to trade for garbage just like they did Mingo. Why the heck wouldn't they make a trade for really good players in their prime.

I'm glad it didn't happen either. He'd be kissing Jerry's behind if they had cut him. He said what he's supposed to say

Some guys just want to win.
Isn't it ironic, I mean I find it ironic that Derek Henry left a team in the Titans to better himself the Ravens picked him up to better themselves and literally neither one of them got back to a place where they were prior, they literally finished worse allegedly adding a better player..

It's the same thing with Christian Mccaffrey I mean what exactly did he do other than collect a giant paycheck to help San Francisco or himself I guess he finally got back to a better place but they have not yet finished what they hope to do and that is win a super bowl not just get close...

And in this case,

the Cowboys won i'm glad he went back to the Ravens because George Pickens is a better player the Cowboys win this argument every time Yes the Ravens are a better team lately they've been a better team but this guy which I already forgot his name while typing this and Derrick Henry they literally got bounced from the playoffs early earlier than a year before without Derek Henry apparently people forget that this is a team game the better team from top to bottom The total roster it doesn't take one name the Eagles got lucky they added the final piece.

But they had no idea this whole shuffling players from one team to another thinking you're going to improve it doesn't always happen so this guy thank God he ended up staying with the Ravens because the Cowboys win with George Pickens, he's a better wide receiver we got the better player...

By the way the irony to finish the ironic part of this thread his cowboy fans seem to agree with him even though he's knocking our team and you can't even stand up for our team you guys are a sad bunch really, I don't care what's happened the last 30 years have some damn pride!!!!

Shocker, a guy is happy he stayed with his current team, a team who wins a lot of games. Im glad it fell through also, much more excited to see Pickens play.
We got the better receiver yes the Cowboys win he's knocking the Cowboys cowboys fans can't even stand up and have some pride and be offended this guy said this this is a sad state for Cowboys fans but in the end, I don't think Cowboys fans realize the Cowboys made the better move...

lol. Jackson is 3-5 in the playoffs and Dak is 2-5. Jackson has been an MVP with great defenses.

I hate Dak. But Jackson is Dak in the afc
I wouldn't go that far I mean Lamar Jackson is a different player, but he did steal Daks MVP, that should have been his in 2023 but that's the thing it evened out because Josh Allen stole Jacksons MVP, only because they weren't going to give Jackson back-to-back MVPs..

Look one's a better running quarterback and a better athlete and the other one's a little bit better in the pocket as a prostyle quarterback,
yes both have fell short in the playoffs, but Jackson's had better teams are we going to sit here and say that they're GM and owner are better? coaching staff better? , I mean aren't they doing more adding players to help Jackson and that team then Jerry does here for Dak?

It's funny how that works You had a quarterback in Matthew Stafford that literally couldn't win anything in Detroit because that management wasn't going to get him a ring But he goes with team ready to win a ring He doesn't change who he is he still led the league in interceptions He threw two interceptions in a suit bowl and yeah he walked away with a ring and people are going to say he's a better quarterback than Prescott and that's not the case he just ended up on a better team..

My point is people need to stop being all over Dak and to some extent Lamar, but Dak has not got the benefit of one of these all in moments or A GM that just makes sure he builds a great run game and a great defense and gives the quarterback a better chance.

The best thing that could have happened for Prescott is they didn't resign him and he goes to a better team and he wins the Super Bowl so the Dallas Cowboy fans can just shut up...
We have not been good enough and yes Prescott has suffered in the playoffs with some below average play but it has reasons for it no run game no physicality on either side of the football in the best games against the better teams and that's why he's losing I think Lamar has had a much easier road and yet he's failed and in my opinion failed harder the MVP should be going to the Super Bowl..

If he's a true MVP then he should be able to carry his team he should be what is 1 considered elite one of the elite quarterbacks would be 1 that can carry a lesser team to a championship so he's overrated in my opinion....

Probably should’ve asked to be traded to the Eagles or Chiefs then lol.
lol Or the 49ers but Christian Mccaffrey learned that even with his greatness and all the money and paper talent, they didn't win a Super Bowl and that goes back to the Ravens,

I mean this is a team game, it's funny how they got Derrick Henry and Derrick Henry previous with the Titans I believe got to one AFC championship game and lost, the year before Derek came to the Ravens they got to AAFC championship game and lost, and then he comes there and they join forces and they fall short of even getting back there,
and this guy bateman, might be one of them he might be the problem.. lol
.
You reap what you sow LOL

Bateman is glad a trade to any team did not happen.
What is he supposed to say. I wish they traded me to KC or Sf or whatever team.

It just so happens Dallas was taking trade talks. If anything Bateman should be mad they were seeking to trade him to any team that was offering.
