Nothing we don't know. .....

-----------------------------

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is an incredibly bright and creative businessman, a real marketing genius, and he has helped turn Dallas into the most valuable franchise in American sports. So many of his ideas have contributed to the NFL now being a $9 billion-a-year industry.

But if the Cowboys ever want to win their sixth Lombardi Trophy, then Jones must shake up his front office.

He needs to call himself in for a little talk.

“Sit down Jerry,” says Jones the owner.

I don't buy into that "Jerry is so smart" crap anymore.

He's not. If he was he'd do the right thing for the team & hire a GM.

He has said he never will. So screw him.

I have bad news for you. Jerry is a billionaire and you are a middle class citizen. Him Being smart or not doesn't change this fact.

I haven't seen a not-smart billionaire before. Did you?

That being said, Jerry is letting his egos cloud his judgement when it comes to Dallas Cowboys. He has to let a proven mind make football decisions.

Wealth does not equal worth. Let's just leave that classist nonsense at the door.

Got that right.

He is money making smart. No issue there.

If all of a sudden, because the team started to lose money. We would see change.
I feel he makes money but should turn over football operations to Steven.
Who in turn would hire a GM and go from there.

GOD knows he can pay anyone what they want.

Not that I really disagree, but it's just another one of those articles that's right... until it's wrong. I still say we win another Super Bowl in spite of Jerry before he turns 90.

I would wager that James Dolan qualifies as one.

In a utopian society this phrase would mean something. Unfortunately we live in the real world where wealth very much equals worth.

That's why those who have get meals, lodging, cars and other such things given to them ust for showing up to a restaurant, hotel or car dealership while the rest of us get the whole bill and high interest rates.

That's why those who have get away with crimes the rest of us would go away a long time for.

Money = privileges the regular person doesn't receive

It's wrong but nevertheless reality.

How do you know I am middle class? You know what they say about assuming right?

And oh yea screw Jerry.

Btw. I have to laugh at your giving Jerry multiple egos. He does seem schizo in many ways.

I agree with the practical implications of that, but that's no grounds to turn an argument into, "Well, he's rich and you're not, so screw you." Jerry didn't make his money as a GM, so his wealth isn't a testament to his abilities in that area.

Please don't twist my words. All I said was a rich guy can't be called not-smart. I already said he should let his ego go and hire a proven football mind to make football related decisions.

BoysFan4Ever. Sorry if I have offended you. That wasn't my intent. I think I am pretty clear so I won't repeat myself. Last thing I want to do is to defend Jerry on a Cowboys boards.

Sorry if I misunderstood. I do agree with the last thing you said in that original comment.

We're cool. We're all entitled to our opinion.
