Exactly. I'm not saying the Rangers are anything great but those who watched the series know the better team won. The Rangers certainly had the ability to beat the Flyers in fewer than 7 but didn't get it done until 7. I'll still take it. Just like I'll take tonight's OT win over "Minus 3" Crosby and the Penguins.

They said they Lost the last 11 playoff series after they were leading. That's what I meant... Lucky they broke that pattern.

I think that stat is incorrect. They've been terrible at extending a lead in a series. When they are up in a series, they lose the next game. I'm pretty sure that's the streak. For example, they can't turn a 2-1 series lead in to 3-1, they have allowed the opponent to tie the series every time for a while now. They've actually been really good at winning game 7s in playoff series over the past few years. I'm almost 100% sure that they have not lost the last 11 playoff series in which they were leading.

I'll be optimistic if Montreal can somehow beat Boston tonight. Though the Rangers certainly got tougher the last three games, I have serious doubts about their ability to handle Boston's size in a 7 game series.

If we take out the Bruins, I suspect we will also take you out. Rangers historically do not play well in Montreal and we would have home ice.

IIRC, no team that has gone seven games in both of the first two rounds has ever made it to the Finals. Fatigue takes over.

Fair, though the Rangers were one of the best road teams in hockey this year. There has been some voodoo on Henrik up there though.
