Listening to Giants fans last night on the way home in upstate NY, every single call was a ODB attack. Man, do Giants fans hate Odell. You'd think they would rally around their best offensive weapon.

Me me guy, clapping and smiling when Antonio scored, complaining to the refs, sideline antics. They really hate him.

Sounds like a nice team distraction for this week.

That's interesting. Thanks for passing that along. I, also, would think they'd love him.

Sounds a little familiar to a certain Cowboy. Only, ODB is a distraction, so he kinda deserves it. Still, surprising all the same.

Not sure his antics this week are any more serious than all of the previous outbursts he's had/has.

I don't blame them on that. He's a hard man to like.

He did us a favor this week. His cheering for antonio brown's touchdown and then complaining about the refs after the game has created a bit of a crap storm.

So stations like wfan and espn are going to talk about him all week instead of trying to create some nonsense with Dallas. I listened to francesa for a minute yesterday (thats all i could take) and he was killing beckham.

thanks odell.

He's a jackass all the way.

Maybe he'll mature as he gets older but he does not have a championship mentality at all.

I guess I'm the minority who likes ODB. I'm geninuely surprised he is getting such hate from ny fans. I have been under the impression he is a fan favorite not just in ny, but league wide.

I'm not saying most of it isn't warranted but talent makes fans turn a blind eye, this has traditionally been the case in sports. He's easily the best player on that team and most likely his position, if not top 5.

That's pretty funny! I wouldn't have thought that.

But it's easy to imagine why they'd dislike him also.

I've never seen a bigger diva. And they way he complains to the refs about not getting a call after every non-catch... it's unbearable.

They hate Eli far more. He's such a weird QB. Went on these two amazing playoff runs, but otherwise, he's turnover machine with an aw-shucks hillbilly mannerism in a place that doesn't like anything hillbilly.

Also heard Cruz was left out of the mix (not targeted) and lightly voiced his displeasure. Evidently Eli was apologizing to receiver(s) for not throwing their direction so it sounds like a need for Sensitivity Training Seminar in the their offensive huddle. The squeaky wheel just keeps sounding off and hopefully the rest of the wheels all come off this Sunday night. If we can ruffle ODJ early in this game, it will help.

This whole prima donna wide receiver thing is only tolerable to a point. Once they pass that point they look like emotionally unstable children,,, and nobody likes to see that except their opponents. I noticed that OBJ gets a little extra 'attention' from the DBs tackling him and it always sets him off, they must love that! A never-ending hot button they can press.

Put a Star on his helmet. Call me what you want, but I'll take that guy over any receiver in the NFL not named Julio Jones

Heck fan hate can turn to love quickly if he has a big game vs Dallas. Cowboys need to contain him. He will make some catches but key is limit yards after catch. I agree I think the guy is a complete headcase but he is a great WR who can cause a defense lots of problems.

The history of that organization is built on tough defense, physical run game, disciplined coaching. That tradition was established with Bill Parcells and carried on with Tom Coughlin. Not shocking to me that their fan base is not a fan of his "flamboyancy".

Excellent observation,,, I was reading the Iggles fan board (post-mortem after the Cowboys loss) and some of them call their head coach "Gomer" which made me laugh. I hadn't thought of it before but he does look like a doofy country boy which might be the worst thing to be in the northeast.

He is all wrong for our team and I wouldn't want him anywhere near this organization.

He is the prototypical me first immature player that the media associates incorrectly with Dallas. That is why most media always refer to deion as a cowboy when he never really was. He was always an outsider who came here to promote himself and make money. Just like Alex rodriguez with the Yankees, he knew he would get the most attention there.

anyway, I wouldn't take him at all. The kinds of players we need going forward that fit what we do and how this staff likes its players to handle themselves are guys like Golden Tate, Aj green etc.....Terrance williams has a team first hard work mentality just like these guys and is a perfect fit and I hope he stays.

Wouldn't take the clown in ny in any way.

He needs someone to sit him down and talk some sense to him. I'd simply ask him "who do you want to be when you are done playing, TO or Michael Irvin?" One is broke and has dropped off the face of the earth, the other is cashing in with cushy TV gigs.

I have no doubt he has been sat down and talked to on a number of occasions. ODB is going to do what he wants that is very clear.
