Only 11 of those pass plays were in the first half. Dallas had plenty of balance in the first half and the Oline still got abused.
I don't agree.
Our first series was a TD. Our second series was an 18 yard completion to Witten, a run from JJ for no gain, a run from JJ for 4 yards (setting up a 3rd an 6), and a missed pass from Romo on 3rd.
Our third drive consisted of a deep pass on first down to Ownes incomplete and a deep pass to Glenn, which was intercepted.
Our fourth drive consisted of a first down run for 10 yards, another first down run for 5 yards, a sack of 10 yards, a deep pass attempt to Glenn and a penalty on us for holding.
Our fifth drive consisted of a first down run up the middle for 10 yards, a first down scramble for a yard, a second down run for 3 yards, setting up a 3rd and 6 and an incomplete pass from Romo.
Our sixth drive consisted of a 7 yard pass completion on first down, a penalty, an incomplete deep pass to TO, a scramble of 2 yards, a completion for 17 yards and a first down, a deep incomplete pass thrown out of the endzone to Glenn and a missed FG attempt. Half ends there.
I honestly don't believe the OL played horribly. I think we didn't help them with a game plan much. We had success running the ball but we kinda fell in love with deep routes. By the time the second half rolled around, we had to score points so we completely gave up on the run. At that point, the defense has all the advantage.
