O responds to Cruz

I think we've all read Cruz's post-game comments. Coming off a two-catch, one-fumble outing, having been covered like a blanket all over the field by Orlando Scandrick, he basically (literally) said O holds on every play.

Orlando's response?

"I know it might have felt like it was two guys on him, or a double-team, but what I say to that is, I didn't have one penalty," Scandrick said. "He can say what he wants to say, I have the utmost respect for him. The guy's a worker and I know I'm going to have to see him twice a year. He's a good player."

I love the professional, high road attitude. This has to be coming from Garrett, and I think it's a good sign that the players are buying into his philosophy.

Scan is the man!

Yup, no point in talking. If you win and talk smack (cough, Richard Sherman) you just sound like a classless jerk. If you lose and talk (like Cruz), you sound like a whiny, excuse-making baby.

You can always count on Scandrick to just keep it real. I love the way he is playing this year. All the excuses we make for our bad D and he just shows up and shuts down whoever he is guarding every week.

Oh please lol

This is the first time in 25 years that I can remember an entire Cowboys team biting its collective tongue and just getting the job done. That is Jason Garrett doctrine to a T. Everyone is going to believe what they want, and that's cool. It's a free country. *I* can say unequivocally that I DON'T believe all 53 of these players independently decided just all the sudden to stay above the fray.

Well-reasoned argument you make, though.

There's no doubt. The team's response to the Giants trash talking last week was orchestrated. The players themselves were saying they were told 'let the Giants do the talking, you just do your jobs.' I'm shocked it's even a topic of discussion, honestly. It was obvious.

O scan has the skills to be the best Corner on this team. He's already the most athletically gifted, in terms of speed and quickness, which are are a essential part of being a corner.

I think him and Carr are Neck and Neck right now

The whole talking, or non-talking before games argument is ridiculous. The game is won on the field and not beforehand or afterwards.

If the Giants beat us I can just hear it now, "they did the trash talking then backed it up and kicked our ***."

What's done ON the field on game day is all that matters.

Lol, the same people trashing Mo are the same people who kept trashing Scandrick and Jenkins and didn't even want to resign Scandrick. Now all of a sudden they were great picks? And Mo will be bad forever?

At least man up and stick to your guns, don't be cowards.
