Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell took to Twitter on Monday to express their surprise with the NFL's decision not to fine Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott for celebrating a touchdown Sunday by jumping into a giant Salvation Army donation kettle.

The Cowboys were penalized 15 yards on the ensuing kickoff for unsportsmanlike conduct, but the NFL said Monday that Elliott would not face further sanctions.

Bell responded to Beckham's original post, tweeting a pair of messages, the second of which referred to Steelers teammate and receiver Antonio Brown.

I'm glad that Zeke didn't get fined because he absolutely didn't deserve to be.

but I can understand why other players (who also didn't deserve to be fined) are upset about it.

Haters to busy hating to realize Zeke did a wonderful thing for the charity itself, but yeah lets ignore that all together. I get that the NFL is ridiculous but cmon man take a step back and see what good came of it.

It's in poor taste to criticize this, which is why the NFL didn't fine him. It's a charity that got tons of exposure and more donations, and Zeke paid $21,000 regardless, which is more than I think a fine would have been.

In short, zip it!

Any fine Zeke would've gotten would've been less then what HE donated to Salvation Army.

These clowns wouldn't have donated jack ****. That is the difference between trash, me, me, me and class. Bigger picture jack *****. Lets see you all make a statement and donate money. Hey OBJ where is your 13k? Bell where is your 26k? How about making a difference and drawing attention to a good cause. Even if it was by accident Zeke recognized the impact it could have, and ran with it. When have those 2 clowns ever done that?
