I noticed a few things and wanted to bounce them off of you guys to see if you saw the same things I did.

Philly......as much as I hate Filthy, I have alot of respect for McNabb. How their front office won't go out and get some top notch recievers foe him just blows my mind. McNabb is coming off a serious injury and probably won't be 100% all year, but their wideouts aren't doing him any favors. Horrible route running, and don't seem like they give 100% on every play

Skins.......did anyone notice that the majority of completions JC has, the wideouts aren't moving? that is, they will run a route, turn and come to a complete stop? I have to believe this is due to the skins coaching staff knowing that JC isn't very accurate, so they don't want him throwing to moving targets. JC reminds me of Quincy so much its scary. He'll have one really good throw, then follow that up by 3 horrendous passes. Consistancy is not his strength.

If a team can get an early 14-17 point lead on the skins, and make them one dimensional having to pass the ball, I don't think JC can get the job done. He's just not talented enough.

Thoughts?

I didn't get to watch the game, but I've watched enough Philly games to know

Wideouts aren't the problem. McNabb has a good group right now. Curtis has been getting open, Brown has excellent moves after the catch, Baskett and Avant are good possesion WRs who go up for the ball and provide excellent depth. As a reciever LJ Smith is very good, explosive. Westbrook is one of the best recieving backs in the game. Throw in Lewis who is reliable when called upon, and can occasionally go deep, and I think he has a very good recieving corps.

The problem, right now, is McNabb.

I'm not bashing him per se, I'm just saying right now he's playing like crap. Last year, with mostly the same group, he was putting up gaudy numbers. I still think he's a very good qb, and I've defended him many a time

But right now, McNabb is playing crappy and holding the Eagles back. If he was healthy, I would like to see AJ Feeley starting.

Yes, that would piss McNabb off, but the team is more important than the qb
