A few things I noticed.

Canty played sparingly, weather it was because of conditioning or whatever, he wasn't in much.

When he was in there, he got no push what so ever on his man. He looks fat and slow.

Is it me, or does Jacobs look afraid to take a hit? Way too much running east and west for a big back.

The Giants DT's aren't getting a big push and Tuck /Osi have not been bringing their best lately. They've looked pretty average actually.

Denver ran wide with lots of success. Wore those Gmen down.

Dallas is the better team at this point. I'm happy this game is in the Meadowlands. Dallas plays well there. Might be a littel chilly by then.

I'm sure Canty will be ready to face Dallas next week. Divisional games are always tough, I expect no less of a challenge regardless of their record.

That has always been the case.

Jacobs doesn't like being a big back. The Giants drafted him to be a bruiser but I remember him complaining about it his rookie year. This year he was even pretty sarcastic when he was asked about his lack of production, mocking the media saying "he wasn't supposed to make people miss because he's 6-4, 260. He's supposed to run over people."

And it's true, announcers and media like to portray him as this big hit delivering bruiser of a back. He's not. He prefers to avoid contact.

yes, he'll be a real Greg Ellis...
Heaven help us if Dallas has to face the wrath of Jacques Reeve down in Houston, i get the shivers just thinking about it.

If you watch Jacobs attempt to pick up blitzes from LB's, he looked less than willing! I believe the 'Boys will take it to them as we are becoming battle tested...IMO!

Its one of the reasons Giants took their time to sign him. I.e. they didn't sign him till after season instead of mid season. They had doubts about him, based on what I read.

And lot of people, especially on NFL Network comment on the fact that he is pitter pattering, and even Deion mentioned about "Business Decision" by Brandon Jacobs on some runs :D When Deion says "Business Decision" by a running back, its absolutely not bode well :laugh1:

I hope they try to run jacobs laterally, Ware and Spencer will eat him from behind every time.

With his size and natural ability, imagine how awesome he would be if he had the mindset of a Christian Okoye or Jerome Bettis...But thankfully he has the mindset of the cowardly lion. He is a poodle stuck in a rottweilers body.

And yet he's so good at contact. What a puss.

One of the best offseason moves Jerry has ever made was letting Canty walk. He has done absolutely nothing for the Giants and they are paying him a fortune. Kudos to Jerry the GM for this one...

LOL. I'm pretty sure during the Detroit game Troy said that exact same thing about Deion. They were talking about how corners use to not play the run and Joe said Troy played with one and then Troy said yea he called them "business decisions". LOL!

Sounds like Franco Harris back in the day. He was a big RB for that era at 6'2" 230 but he didn't run as tough as Tony Dorsett IMO, who was much smaller. Jim Brown really disliked Harris because of his running style and was always commenting on how he left a lot of yards on the field by running out of bounds to avoid a hit.

Brandon Jacobs has rapidly become my most hated Giants player of all time.

The Nigerian Nightmare! That hit on him by Steve Atwater was one of the best EVER! I remember watching that game when it happened and jumping out of my seat because you could hear it so clearly. It was one of the biggest collisions of all time. How either of them got up after that was a miracle.

Speaking of Jerome Bettis, where is he these days? I like him as an analyst/commentator. Must be on NFL Network which I don't get.

Canty has missed all but 3 games. He is definitely not in game shape and may not be until the last game or two.

Jacobs isn't scared. The OLine is not playing the way they usually do. O'Hara called some people out, no names were mentioned but I'm assuming at least a couple were the OLine. Snee admitted the OLine is not playing well but they don't know why. Which is why they can't fix it. If you don't know what the problem is, you can't fix it.

Both of the starting DT's had knee surgery right before training camp. They said neither one is anywhere near where they were last year. And it is showing.

Tuck's shoulder is still an issue. There are plays where you see him not even able to lift the arm.

As far as Osi goes, he hasn't been Osi yet. There are plays where he shows what he can do and there are plays where he shows what he can't do.

The Giants missed Bradshaw. He is to the Giants kind of what Westbrook was to the Eagles before they got all of this young talent.

The Giants are reeling from injuries even to players that are playing, and effort. They are not playing as hard as they have the past few years and it shows. You don't make the playoffs four years in a row and win a Super Bowl by slacking. There is something internally going on with this team and only they know what it is.

You guys are getting the Giants at a good time for the Cowboys. I don't see how the Giants win this game. Their playoff streak looks to be done.

the one thing we might need to be worried about is the the giants had their eye on us, not denver. I dont think that was the situation, but you never know with the giants.

oh dont worry, your team will twist reality by wednesday and start some sort of nonsense about how Dallas is cocky and a bunch of loudmouths. Coughlin will have some sort of nonsense he starts.

and the Dopey NY media will be happy to play along as always. By wednesday Gary Myers or Ralph Vacchiano will have some absurd article about Dallas being cocky and how they always are and how Jerry spent a billion dollars on the stadium. By friday all the papers and the national media will be in NY's corner based on some silly story started by one of those two portraying Dallas as something they are not.

Its the same thing as always. The giants have run their mouth in this rivalry over and over and have started every trash talk issue, and the NY media is powerful enough to put it back on Dallas.

They will come up with something for this week, and I am sure Coughlin will too.

Besides, Brandon jacobs said two weeks ago that "The Giants can beat Dallas anytime they want". So Dallas shouldnt have a chance next week.

these are some things that I noticed in the ball game, were going to have to account for boley the linebacker, just like in the past we had to account for pierce, who now is injured.

Second, Mannigham and their number one wr Hicks, are catching mostly sideline passes and deep routes down the right side of the sideline.

Also, if you watched Denver, they kept Jacobs shoulders turned sideways so he couldnt get up a head of steam running downhill.

In the cowboys raiders game, if you watched, demarcus ware who i like, ran inside and left the outside run wide open, which the raiders ran for a big run on such a play that ware did. Ware has to contain his side of the field in run situations.

As we all know, the giants secondary is hurt, we must take advantage of this.

Crayton must run the exact routes he is suppose to and not stop, no matter what.

Several times in this game, the denver giant game, orton rolled out on passes, jason garrett must take advantage of this and get romo outside on such a few plays.

One of their big key players on offense is Kevin Boss, just like witten is to us, we must blanket boss, he is eli mannings safety valve.
