Mike and Kyle Shanahan will never have any NFL coaching job again, EVER.

Shanahan comes from the OOOLDschool of "my way or the highway" (which Jerry still supports). Look at the Shanahans vs Chip Kelly. Chip Kelly's system (in Oregon) would have fit RG3's skills. The Shanahans' system would likely have done well with Nick Foles. Maybe they were forced to stick with it by their GM and owner, who knows.

Yet, while the Shanahans were trying to force the square peg into a round hole, Chip Kelly adjusted the hole to fit the peg..

Having a coach that has the guts to get away from what he knew and having the intelligence to change his system to best fit what he had on the field. It's also an owner and a GM that TRUST their HC enough to support his changes. As a fan of football in general, that's pretty dang amazing to see. It also stands in stark contrast to Dallas, especially on defense over the last few years. It was most noticable with the CBs this year.
