What are your opinions about giving this kid a shot next year? He had a tremendous rookie year last year and was suspended by the NFL for the entire season this season. According to Marvin Lewis this guy is all but done in Cincy. Obviously the guy has character issues but the talent is definitely there. Is it worth giving this guy a shot?

I don't know....He was suspended for a whole year.

The guy has issues.

I really like our approach of getting quality human beings.

But I think we could use some rogues. I want guys you can depend on though. What good would an Odell Thurman be if he kept getting suspended?

I would rather have a guy like TO (can't believe I just said that) or Charles Haley. Yeah, they're big time jerks, but they came to play on Sundays.

If a guy has to check with his probation officer before he can make a free agent trip to meet with team officials, we shouldnt be interested

A. He's an idiot.

B. His development is shot from missing a year.

I think their kicker is the only one who has not had a run in with the law. He is pretty good, too.

Steinbach is a good guard and also has had his issues with law enforcement. Boating while under the influence.
