I evaluate him as an underachiever. Was always supposed to break out every year and never did.

He's no better of a prospect than Maliek Collins was.

Yes because sacks are the only indication of rushing the passer lol….stop embarrassing yourself please. I beg you.

to be fair, playing at Oklahoma doesn’t give him many opportunities to rush the passer. It’s a running conference. Not many passes.

Ya everyone would like to have an Aaron donald but the truth of the matter is we dont and he isnt available. I prefer to judge interior lineman more on pressure than sack and how they handle the run. So if he only had 9 sacks in 5 years so be it if does those other 2 things than that's ok.Force the QB to move then the Dlaws and Gregory's can clean up the mess. Heck Vita Vea has 7.5 sacks in 5 years does he suck?

    Besides its who we got

running lmao maybe in the 90s, that not true at all now

..you did notice that at PU ie OU they have now THREE qbs who were all Heisman winners and now starting in the nfl, they didnt do that running he football lol..big 12 is know for no defense and wide open offenses with few exceptions. Big 10 maybe a running conference but big 12 um no..

most of the qbs in all of colleges can run and pass like the new nfl..tjhat not an excuse but Gallimore has soem upside and cant wait see it.

Like most people that have zero football knowledge, you fail to realize pressures are more important than actual sacks. Additionally, sack numbers are generally not the high watermark for interior linemen.

I'm a huge Gallimore fan. He showed promise in flashes last year.

Keep in mind he had no preseason and this was his first NFL offseason.

Supposedly he took a big step forward physically (MMs words) and I was really looking forward to seeing him take it up a notch like Diggs has.

I suppose that can still happen.

He’s literally arguing against numerous scouting reports people have written on him all because he didn’t have a high sack total lol….judging a defensive tackle on sacks is just silly.

That's right. He's only of those really effective 2 sacks a year pass rushers.

    Quit hitting yourself.

I'm literally stating his actual production on the field in terms of getting to the QB when someone says that's his strength.

    9 sacks. 5 years.

Bathe in it. While you read those "scouting reports" from Blogging the Boys.

Yes. Gallimore's one of those DTs who gets a crap ton of pressures with his 1.8 sacks a year.

    Boy do I feel silly.

He's not a bad prospect. He's just not a very good one. He's basically Maliek Collins.

Gallimore has promising tools and potential, but he's still a work in progress.
Missed injury time doesn't help his progress but I am so grateful that it wasn't an season ending injury.
Maybe we'll have him back by Carolina game.

    - i re-watched the game and saw about three pressures from rookie Osa,
One pressure led Hebert into the arms of LVE sack .
Overall it's just not on a constant consistent level in the interior that it needs to be.
Most of the game we got simply stonewalled at the line.

    - I have no idea what is really going on with Trysten Hill now.
Maybe ACL issues vary on a case by case basis, as Conner Williams
and Blake Jarwin gradually made it back to start of reg season in their
individual ACL rehab cases, but there's been no reports or updates on
of how close ... or how far away his return is.

I think his upside is a little higher than Collins, but it's impossible to make that case until he gets out there and proves it.

The Lamb and Diggs picks were no brainers, and at least they threw some reasonably high currency at the DT position immediately after.

He did have a nice highlight reel at Nebraska, and it's nice to be enamored with the potential....but again he has to get out there and show it.

I think he will....and he is only expected to be part of a what we hope becomes a solid rotation, not a three down player every series.

As you've come to know quite well, Dallas fans know how to treat a longshot like the free space on a bingo card with the best of them!

In Hill's defense he tore his knee up same game as Dak destroyed his ankle. Not knowing what else they found that could also affect recovery
