Anyone who can provide some names of the possible CBs and WRs who are still left on the board for today, I, and probably others on here as well, would no doubt appreciate hearing "who" do you feel would be good for us to target today. Thanks in advance.

Irons and Jackson are the two best Corners left, IMHO.

Mike Johnson is a top 100 Safety.

"Slim pickings" left at WR. Anyone we pick is probably a project.

I'm inclined to agree about not much being left at either CB or WR at this point, but how about at backup DT perhaps???

Hopefully there are some good linemen here.

We are already chock full of prospect WRs. If we didn't do something there on day one, not much use in doing something today. Give it another year, re-sign Crayton next year and get a good wideout in 08

I would be thrilled with Courtney Brown at CB. He had 65 passes thrown to his coverage assignments in 2006 and allowed less than a 45% completion rate. Also didn't allow a single TD all season. In the past two years has 19 pass deflections and 8 INTs. He's a big fast corner who has the strength to jam and the speed to turn and run.

Marcus Thomas.

But he's got personal problems.

Tanard Jackson from Syracuse is still on the board. He's a little bit of a CB/FS tweener. He could be our poor man's Reggie Nelson if we take him this morning.

WR has been picked through pretty good, but Aundrae Allison is still out there, as well as David Clowney, and the guy I think we'll take a look at, D'Juan Woods from Oklahoma State.

Yeah, I'd be very happy with him too.

He'd have some top quality mentors on this team too. It be a good situation for both him and the team, IMO.

It's a different draft this year. Not any former high prospects at WR that have slipped that far.

If they are looking for WR, I think Andrae Allison was a guy they showed a lot of interest in.

Wr- Aundrae Allison -I remember Dallas liked him at the Senior Bowl and predraft workouts. So I hope he is our first 4th rounder cuz he'll be gone in a hurry.

CB- Tarell Brown -This guy was rated higher than Aaron Ross coming into the season. But he had an incident with the law i believe and flew under the radar. He is a very physical corner that can be on this team for a long time.

K- Mason Crosby -I would love for us to be able to pick him up in the 5th or 6th. Have him battle with Gramatica and hopefully he wins. I just don't trust Gramatica as our kicker this year.

We also should look at a QB like Troy Smith or Jared Zabransky. I think Jeff Rowe out of Nevada can be special as well.

Maybe we go after Antonio Pittman and trade away Julius for a 4th or 5th?

Yeah, I started a thread on him back in March I think. He has experience playing CB, FS and WR supposedly. He's got some awesome workout numbers too. I'd have no problem pulling the trigger on him in the 4th round.

There are several good players still out there,

including Antonio Pittman, M Bush (maybe we tuck him away on IR for this season), DT P Soliai, J. Beekman for OC/OG, Allison at WR, Ben Patrick at TE, Brian Robison (I think), plus numerous others.

The most Colston-esque player left is Maurice Price from Charleston Southern.

Small school. Big production. Over 2000 yards and 17 TDs in the past two seasons (19 games).

[FONT=Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif][SIZE=-2]Compares To: DONTE' STALLWORTH-Philadelphia...Like Stallworth, Price is a slippery runner who might not have the strength to power through the press or break many tackles, but he has the loose hips, second gear and wiggle to elude. His best ability is to drive off the coverage and come back for the short ball. With his sharp change of direction, he quickly separates after the catch. Price has never faced anything other than marginal competition and needs to fill out his frame more, but he has soft, natural hands and with his nifty foot moves, he can make things happen with the ball in his hands. - NFL Draft Scout
