Of these four rushmen, who gets there first?

I think Collins is the safe bet.

But if there's a dark horse candidate, I like Tapper. If his words, measurables, and motivations translate to the field, we could have something.
I think Tapper and Moore will provide a pass rush this year, not sure of total game, but I will be happy with good pass rushing from Tapper and Moore.

Irving is out 4 games, so that's unlikely.

Collins had success last year and is the "vet" of the group so he has the advantage, but he does play inside so that might limit his sack count some.

Taco will probably be given all the opportunities at DE, especially considering Irving's suspension, but will he struggle as a rookie?

Tapper is coming off a weird injury/health issue and is basically a rookie, but his size and speed is intriguing.

All in all, I'd give Taco the slight edge over Collins considering he plays DE and he'll probably be given a lot of opportunities while Irving is injured.

If it's Collins I'll be a happy camper
If it's anyone, I'd be a happy camper. A fan could run out on the field and spear Eli from the side; I'd be ecstatic, despite the fact that it wouldn't count....and in this case it really should count...Eli defiled our New Stadium Visiting Team locker room.

It would be Randy Gregory if you can tie a bong to the opposing QBs jersey.
Oh snap!

Rooting for Taco so all the Taco haters will crap their pants.

Trying to remember a time when a team's #1 pick overall was so ho-hum. Frederick, probably, though that was more a lot of complaining about what idiots the front office were for trading down and only netting Terrence Williams and Travis Frederick.

I think people legitimately like the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks better--pretty much universally. And they might like X Woods better too. And I don't blame them, because that's pretty much how I feel about it, too. It would be great, though, if they did actually know what they were doing and we got a player there where nobody expected it.

Everyone here saying Taco is going to struggle. When i played soccer we used to do keep ups and ball control drills with tennis balls. That way when you use a soccer ball your control is out of this world. Taco has spent all OTAs going up against Tyron Smith. Thats like doing the keep up with a tennis ball. Going up against whoever the Giants trot out there at LT is going to have a tough time dealing with a guy who has been going up against the best in the NFL IMO

All in all, I'd give Taco the slight edge over Collins considering he plays DE and he'll probably be given a lot of opportunities while Irving is injured.

Jason Hatcher played inside and led the team with 11 sacks one year. Also, Collins is playing Warren Sapp's
position with his old coach. Now, I get it, this is not meant to be the carbon copy of that Tampa defense.
Different team, different time, However, Collins is a centerpiece of this defense. He might lead the team in sacks.

Tapper is intriguing. If we hit lightning in a bottle with him, this could be a very exciting season.
We wait with baited breath.

I'm rooting for Taco. 6-8 sacks as a rookie would be a good season. The Giants LT is awful. Taco may get
one or two in his first game.
