I know a lot has been said about the play of the O-line the past few games, hell the whole season. I wouldn't be surprised to see Columbo starting or at least rotating in a few series in the next week or two. He was activated yesterday for the first time and must have shown something in order for Brooks and Noll to be let go.

Thoughts???

Considering how skiddish Parcells is about inserting newbies into the thick of a playoff hunt, I doubt Columbo will see any PT unless Pettiti or Tucker are physically unable to take the field.

Keep in mind he has started 3 or 4 different RB's this season already. I can't remember if Thompson actually had a start. True it was due to injury to jones, but he didn't stick with the same guy for all the games.

But like you said, it was because JJ was injured. Unless Pettiti or Tucker suffer the same fate, the backups will see no time on the field, nor should they. If they had shown they were good enough to start/play, Parcells would have them in there.

The problem is that the Cowboys have yet to lose a game by more than a touchdown, which means there is no 'scrub time.'
