Come on now, we really shouldn't be surprised by this.

I saw another poll over there that, at the time, showed that they thought Rocky Mcintosh was a better LB than Bobby Carpenter by a percentage of 66% to 34%.

Homerism at its finest........of course it happens here too from time to time.

"Okay, hear me out here...
I was thinking, that Mark Brunell has the ability to throw the long ball to Santana Moss at any time. For example, in the Dallas game, we were down 13 points w/ four minutes left. We decided to throw two long bombs to Moss for TD's to win the game. I mean, why can't we just call that play every single play of every game. It can't be defended against. We could easily put up 75-100 points every week (depending on how long our defense stays on the field).

I'd say, based on those facts alone, that Brunell to Moss is at least equal to Montana to Rice, and w/ our head coach, that probably puts us over the top talent wise as a team. Therefore, I'd say that this years Commanders are better than the 49ers of the 80's.
"
Ugh. I hope it was a joke.

Gotta be. It's too extreme. Even for Extremeskins.com.

Edit: Yeah it is false. Just some jerk doing an imitation.

Jason Campbell would have gone mid to late second round had the skins not jumped up to grab him. True story.

kiper had him rated as the #3 QB. link?

edit- with rodgers going at 24 to GB, the skins took him at 25. every site i checked had him as the 3rd best QB, so gibbs took him. the skins didnt have a second rounder and gibbs had campbell rated higher than rodgers. makes sense.

Nothing wrong with taking a guy you like...

I actually like Campbell, but most draft experts had him mid to late second or third...

Still nothing wrong with being a first-day pick...

I think he'll need a couple of years with the clipboard...

He was the number 3 QB in the weakest QB draft in years.

Yes - he did like him, but I think he could have traded somewhere in the mid 2nd to get him as well. His stock just wasn't that high.
