*** Official Blame Jerry thread ***

I cant even speak right now without spewing expletives...this offensive line is EMBARRASSING! I took up for Romo for 3 quarters after getting heckled on facebook, then HE makes a fool of me. Why do we save games like this for prime time? Sick of it...trade all our good players that deserve to win before their career is over, Jerry...I couldve handled a loss, but not a humiliation!

Jerry has completely bungled up the coaching position here. Wade should've been DC from the start and Garrett should be nothing more than a QB coach on this team.

Would love to have one of the Harbaughs at HC or even Rob Ryan, somebody that will show some emotion and won't take crap like this laying down.

Even looking back you had a young genius like Payton on the sidelines and ugh....

Yep the NFL has changed. If you're a coach younger than 50, you have to be passionate, fiery, and enthusiastic. That's someone we've still been lacking.

Parcells - the strict, hard-*** coach who never let the players have any fun and created a tense locker room environment

Wade - the family atmosphere, laid-back coach who gave too much control to the players and let them run the asylum

Garrett - the boring, vanilla personality, supposedly strict but not to the extent of Tuna, non-confrontational

We need a coach that will chew out a player when needed but will chest bump a player after a big play. A coach that will get into it vs. opposing coaches and players

Jon Gruden nailed it on the head, Jerry has built an amazing home for the Cowboys, BUT it has been NO advantage for the home team. The road team comes in feeling like their playing in an amusement park, which they basically are and instead of feeling intimidation, they are feeling inspired and excited for playing in such a "cool" stadium.

We are stuck with Jerry. Fans will not stop coming to the games.

Yeah, there were fans there, just not Cowboys fans. :lmao:

Even if Cowboys fans don't come, other teams fans will fill the stadium to see their team brutalize the Cowboys.

Sell the team Jerry. You have made your billions. Your children, their children, and their children's children will never have to worry about money again. This franchise deserves better than this and it's glorified past will tell you that. Do the right thing, the game has simply passed you by.

Who does exactly that? Rob Ryan

They have... the BEAR fans were louder and rowdier than the home field Cowboys.....It was shameful on a PRIME TIME National TV Monday night game..the BEARS fans became the 12th Man at Cowboys stadium..

So much for home field advantage Jerry Jones

The organization AND the fans need to start getting real. Every year, August is the time where the homers start asking "Can we go to the Super Bowl this year?" and then you hear crap from old-timers like Staubach how this team has all the tools needed to make a championship run, Romo will win a Super Bowl, etc.

It just gets annoying for a team that hasn't accomplished ANYTHING in the last 5-10 years. Now we start building up hype and unwarranted attention on this truly mediocre team. I realize it's the Cowboys and we have a rich history but it's time we start getting real. Until we start building things properly then we won't even be winning playoff games.

You have to start from the first step and go up but just because Jerry thinks we're "The Cowboys" he thinks we can just skip steps and make it to the top.

What did we ever do to deserve this?

Did Jerry really sell his soul for 3 rings as the rumor goes, and that was it?

:bang2:

Jerry needs to work on turning the stadium into a louder, more rowdy environment.

But his hiring of a GM is pointless. The GM is Stephen Jones. He mages the cap fairly well and we have a solid personnel dept.

What we are lacking is a head coach IMHO. Jason would be a great asst coach and had he had 3 or 4 years under Tuna he might be great now. But we rushed his process and he is learning the job.

This team is what it is, thanks Jerry. Get ready for another roller coaster ride. Besides the Raiders this is the most pathetic team in the league.
