We don't know if Beasley ran the wrong route, looks like he sat down, and for 1 yard, that's what you do. The ball would've been incomplete anyways, it was too wide even had Beasley kept going. Keep it up though, just slowly watch what I've been saying all these years.

No matter what the defense did, no matter what Garrett did, the ball was in his hands twice to win or lose it.

True we don't know for sure.

But in most of these cases it has turned out the WR is to blame and not the quarterback. I'm willing to withhold judgement until the facts come out.

Haha what? Is this thread a joke? Romo and his underthrows had us up by like 20 at half they did not however, let up 20 points in the second half and blow the game for us the blame should be thrown at the defense, folks.

Romo today and most of this season TBH has looked pretty much close to done. Sure, he's made some plays but he's missing way too many passes.. The ones he missed today with Dez were embarressing.. Half of his throws, he's not leading WRs.. That is just unacceptable. Of course, he never should have gotten the chance to choke the game away if they just ran the damn ball.. My point is more on Romo then it is the loss.

I like Romo, but that contract he got was a joke. With the defense being historically bad, we can't afford to draft a replacement, either.

I don't care about these blame Romo topics anymore. Up three TD's and they abandon what worked the whole damn game. Makes no sense! Romo and this team just love finding the most impossible ways to lose games.

It seemed clear to me from the way everyone was yelling at him afterward that he ran the wrong route. And obviously, it makes sense that he would be running an out toward the sideline there doesn't it, considering that we're trying to move the ball and get our receivers out of bounds?
They were trying to get the first down there. Needed 1 yard. Doesn't matter, he was over throwing Dez all day, under throwing Dez all day, just sit back and watch everything I say come to fruition. It already has 10 fold, but continue to watch.

Actually we DO have evidence. Jason Hatcher got on Romo in practice after the Chiefs game for audibiling out of run plays in practice. Here's the link in case you hadn't heard.

I'm asking you for proof that he was doing that TODAY, in this game. We have no idea what the calls were, what Romo was saying or doing or changing or not changing at the line.

The only thing we know, for 100% sure, is that Garrett is the head coach. Garrett calls the plays. And if he wants to run the ball, he can call a running play.

Why you keep ignoring that is beyond me.

No. Garrett should take away Romo's autonomy but since Romo is given the autonomy he should know this is the NFL not Eastern Illinois. You can't just pass 60 times and ignore the running game when trying to close the game in the final minutes.
not back up romo, but when your coach sends in all recievers and no running backs, there is not much Romo can audible to but a pass. Sure he has the autonomy to audible, but only to what players are in the game.

Needed 1 yard and needed to stop the clock. You get that by running an out route, not letting him sit where he'll get tackled and you'l have to rush to the line. There's just no, no, no way that was the route Beasley was supposed to run. Bonehead mistakes like that are probably why he's not on the field more.

Every quarterback will throw interceptions at the end of the game from time to time. Romo does not do it at an unusually higher rate compared to his counterparts.

This has been illustrated several times at this point.

who threw the ball?

at the end of the day, he can only control what is called.

And he controls it ohh so poorly when it matters most.

Romo would have never been in this position if we would have worked the clock and stayed with the running game. I think Garret is looking for 12+ypc to stay with the run, he sure as heck didn't early in the 1st half when Murray was avg 9.6 a carry why sould I be suprised when he didn't late in the game when Murray was avg a PITIFUL 7 ypc

Exactly. On 99% of those plays where Romo supposedly checked out of a run play, we were on the field with 3 or 4 WR's in a shotgun set. There's no doubt in my mind the directive from Garrett was pass, pass, pass.

Our head coach didn't commit to the running game, and that's why we didn't run the ball. If he was committed to it, we would have went out in a Power I with Tyler Clutts and rammed Murray down GB's throat to the tune of 25-30 carries.

Garrett just said in his PC 2nd and 6 was a RUN play. Romo checked out. It's clear. Romo doesn't care about anyone else's wishes other than his own and the team doesn't respect Garrett. Yes they BOTH need to go.
