BACK to BACK interceptions from Romo. Enough of the excuse mongering. The whole team sucks. The D was swiss cheese, terrible playcalling by Garrett that allowed the Packers to get back in the game because we kicked 10,000 field goals, and Romo sealed the deal with back to back interceptions at the end of the game. Time to clean house.

I officially do not give a single _ about Romo any more. I'm done hoping he'll not choke when he absolutely cannot afford to. I've never seen another NFL QB who is consistently good when it doesn't matter but consistently bad when he absolutely cannot be.

I know some idiot will post his 4th quarter QB rating blah blah blah but when the game comes down to 1 or 2 plays, Romo always comes up short.

He needs traded. We need a new young QB. I would trade him and get picks and move up and grab a real QB.

This. I want an athletic QB who can run a little and make defenses PAY! Romo is probably the slowest QB in the league when it comes to running, he makes Foles look like Vick

Needed 1 yard and needed to stop the clock. You get that by running an out route, not letting him sit where he'll get tackled and you'l have to rush to the line. There's just no, no, no way that was the route Beasley was supposed to run. Bonehead mistakes like that are probably why he's not on the field more.
Yet every year it's something isn't it. He had two chances, and choked them both away. While meaningless back up QBs like Flynn, probably making 1 tenth the money Romo is, he doesn't have these issues. And in past choke jobs, it's always on other players, never on Tony.

As I've said before, he's the #1 reason this franchise can't move forward. Bring in coach after coach, player after player, as long as Tony Romo is the Dallas Cowboys QB, we will be sitting at home watching other teams in the Super Bowl. When we decide to go in the draft, and draft a good young stud, then build this team around that guy, then and only then will we have a chance. But you can't just dismiss 100 mil.

so Garrett throws Romo under the bus. He said Romo was suppose to run the ball on that last play! Great job Jason, but what about the rest of the second half?

Stats be damned, Romo fails when he least can afford to do so.

Eight years — and 1 playoff victory — should be enough of a sample size.

The problem is its always on Romo. Hey, Tom Brady threw an INT on the last play of the game against Miami today. He threw an INT against Carolina to lose the game.

Difference is, Brady is part of a great organization. He has an excellent coach, excellent management, great players around him. He doesn't always have to do it all on his own.

Romo does. And look at his 4th quarter numbers. His game winning drives. THE NUMBERS BEAR OUT that he's as good as any QB in the league late in the game, but when you are asked to carry a pathetic organization EVERY SINGLE WEEK you're bound to have some failures. It's impossible to do what Dallas asks him to do.

again, not defending Romo, but this game was lost before the half. Settling for field goals was the beginning, and then not continuing to run the ball, especially in the second half. In the first half, Kiffin was aggressive and GB punted 4 or 5 times. In the second half, Kiffien reverted to the same pathetic prevent defense, and GB scored on every possession. Garrett quit running the ball, and quit running the crossing routes tha were so successful in giving us the lead.

Its all on coaching! or lack of coaching!

who threw the ball?

at the end of the day, he can only control what is called.

And he controls it ohh so poorly when it matters most.

Maybe you didn't see the first half? We had a much more balanced run/pass ration and a big lead. Romo had no interceptions. With that mixture Romo also had plenty of time to throw, things were looking good. In the 2nd half, we abandoned a run game averaging 7/yards a carry with a big lead. The defense gave up 5 freaking scores and Garret went into panic mode passing almost every down...where even the announcers were questioning what he was calling. With no running threat, of course the defense was able to pin their ears back now on the pass rush, knowing every play was a pass. Romo needed to take MORE CHANCES because we were being killed by a dumb coaching strategy. All passes, taking more chances and the bleeding inability of the defense from being annihilated for continuous 80 yards drives...means he has to take more chances.

Really, any of you blaming Romo really think we would have lost if we had a 70/30 Run/Pass ratio in the 2nd half, please explain. Do you think Romo would have fumbled two hand-offs?...lol.

Let's quit with the numbers. Get real.

Romo has the worst head coach in the league, the worst GM in the league, an average offensive line, WR's that run the wrong routes or are just plain lazy (Austin) and one of the worst defenses in NFL history.

But yeah, it's all his fault.

You get real.

If I were you, I'd put the stat sheet down and open your eyes. Tom Brady will be in the playoffs competing for another Super Bowl birth. If he chokes in a game or two, doesn't matter cause his body of work speaks for itself. He's played with some of the most pathetic defenses and receivers I've ever seen. Yet he's deep in the playoffs every year.

I don't judge Romo on today's game, or last weeks game. I blame him on 8 years of choking. It's cool how I'm so calm today. Not even mad

You can't even compare the two situations. The support around Brady is so much better than anything Romo has ever had. Romo is at a disadvantage every single week with the coaching and defense he's forced to play with.

The worst thing Jerry did in the offseason was let Romo have MORE control. Romo has no understanding of situational football. He is the one that decides to audible all the time, since each play has the run pass option.

If would just allow the run play to be executed, no one would worry about the INTs.

If there is a new HC next year, expect him to not allow Romo to do all his checks.

romo needs to just die already

The guy is damaged goods. Draft a QB in the 2015 Draft, let him sit for 3 years while Romo finishes out most of his contract and racks up all the stats to keep the Stans happy, then let him back-up the new QB to finish his contract here. Maybe our new QB will help him get a ring before he retires lol

I'm not going to blame "Rome", but I will blame this entire gutless franchise: players, coaches, front office.

Romo is the most consistent player we've had for years. And he's just recently been re-signed. Parcells knew what he was doing when he left here. This is enough to end it for me as a fan.
