I'm not surprised.

Same old same old.

Romo's fault? He should have not been in that situation to begin with.

Horrible play calling. Horrible time management. Worst D I've ever seen.

Look at the divisions QBs

I would take Foles, Eli, Vick, Kirk Cousins, Kyle Orton, and maybe Rex Grossman over this bum Tony Romo. 8 year QB failed experiment still going strong.

Romo has the worst head coach in the league, the worst GM in the league, an average offensive line, WR's that run the wrong routes or are just plain lazy (Austin) and one of the worst defenses in NFL history.

But yeah, it's all his fault.

You get real.

lets keep blaming everyone but the general himself. classic.

@SportsCenter: Tony Romo has 7 interceptions in losses with team tied or up by 1 possession in 4th quarter/OT, nearly twice as many as any QB since '06.

No, apparently everyone wants to ignore the real problems and blame the scapegoat.

Put Romo in a better organization and I guarantee nobody would be talking about this "choker" stuff. Put him in New England or New Orleans.

The worst thing Jerry did in the offseason was let Romo have MORE control. Romo has no understanding of situational football. He is the one that decides to audible all the time, since each play has the run pass option.

If would just allow the run play to be executed, no one would worry about the INTs.

If there is a new HC next year, expect him to not allow Romo to do all his checks.

Where are you when Romo has a good game or leads the team to a come from behind victory? Is Romo a genius when his check downs work?

This thread is fail just like this website after a loss.

blame global warming. blame obama. blame fox news. blame the great depression. blame everyone else besides tony romo

Man, I bet you're so happy you can barely contain yourself. You've got about 85 posts, what, about 80 of them are complaining about Romo?

This statistic is so unbelievably misleading I don't even know where to begin. Par for the course for ESPN though.

The guy is damaged goods. Draft a QB in the 2015 Draft, let him sit for 3 years while Romo finishes out most of his contract and racks up all the stats to keep the Stans happy, then let him back-up the new QB to finish his contract here. Maybe our new QB will help him get a ring before he retires lol
The amazing thing is we could given the guy the flacco treatment, instead we gave him a needless extension. An all time *** move

Before dumping Romo perhaps ya'll should look at Adam's thread titled "Cowboys Make History Again". Here's a quote:

"Since 1940, NFL teams are now 440-1 when leading by at least 23 points at halftime and finishing with at least 36 points.
They were 440-0 before today."

Stats be damned, Romo fails when he least can afford to do so.

Eight years — and 1 playoff victory — should be enough of a sample size.

Look at the sample size prior to Romo, but I'm sure you'll blame him for the .500 record since 1996. Oh yeah, defense gave up 5 TDs in the second half...Add that to your sample size...lol. Garret is clueless and we should be celebrating a win.

If I were you, I'd put the stat sheet down and open your eyes. Tom Brady will be in the playoffs competing for another Super Bowl birth. If he chokes in a game or two, doesn't matter cause his body of work speaks for itself. He's played with some of the most pathetic defenses and receivers I've ever seen. Yet he's deep in the playoffs every year.

I don't judge Romo on today's game, or last weeks game. I blame him on 8 years of choking. It's cool how I'm so calm today. Not even mad

Let me ask you, over the last 8 years do you think these results would have been different if Brady were on the Cowboys...and Romo on the Patriots?

Now for the bonus question...Do you think the results would have been changed if Belichick was out coach and Garret was the Patriots coach?

Which change do you think would have made the most difference?

Needed 1 yard and needed to stop the clock. You get that by running an out route, not letting him sit where he'll get tackled and you'l have to rush to the line. There's just no, no, no way that was the route Beasley was supposed to run. Bonehead mistakes like that are probably why he's not on the field more.

That's what I was thinking DW. If that was the route then it was a bad play call. You can't afford a 1 yard gain and then get tackled in bounds in that situation.

the only thing that would change from those organizations is early playoff exits...

those coaches wouldn't want a loser like romo anyways. He has the wrong mentality for a winning enviroment.
